Sir, if you wish to avail yourself of scientific findings perhaps you should watch a video of a “clump of cells” being aborted (available because advances in scientific instrumentation), and watch for yourself with horror the pain it/he/she displays ad it/he/she tries vainly to survive the abortion procedure. Because of illness I was the parent of a baby who was born very prematurely (many babies in this country have been aborted far past his gestation age)and he was predicted to have all sorts of defects should he survive. I was very glad for the help of doctors and nurses in the NICU who did not give up on him. He is currently a family loving, good humored, freshman athlete in college. Praise be to God!!!

Well said. When are people going to wake up? I recall that God gave us free will. As a health care provider you have to respect that it is the choice of your client as to what they want to do if it is within the law. It is not the health care providers place to deny someone their free will. It is not a decision that is any of their business. You may not agree with it, but it isn’t your decision.

Exactly what values are you referring to? Torturing people and lying about it, invading a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. Bombing and killing thousands of innocent women, men and children for what reason? This is not the teachings of Jesus. I am very spiritual and there was no conscience with the Bush administration. The families of the 9/11 victims had to demand an investigation that occurred much too long after the crime. They essentially destroyed part of the greatest crime scene that ever occurred against our country by removing much of the heavy steel before experts could look at it . The 9/11 commission were told to explain how things occurred the way that they claimed that they occurred. Not to investigate if there was any other possibilities of of things occurred. This is not an investigation, this is a confirmation of what we were told happened. Not very open and thorough.

Religion is about being able to question things, not go about like a robot and agree with everything. I think that I remember Jesus suffered greatly because he stood up against things that he saw as injustices. He wasn’t a yes man for the religious powers that existed in his time.

The Bush administration destroyed the economy with their over the top deregulation that allowed corporations and banks to rob the public blind. The waste and theft in the Iraq war is mind boggling. That was our tax dollars being stolen by corporate greed and corruption in the Iraq war. Watch the documentary Iraq for Sale and have your eyes opened.

Obama is trying to put money back into our own country and economy, not in another country for it to be stolen by our greedy corporations.

Wake up and find out what the truth is, not what Rush and Fox are trying to brain wash you with. Bush liked to pretend he was a common every day kind of guy. He is an oil man and he and Cheney made plenty at our expense. Look at who got the real tax breaks, the wealthiest and most powerful. He cut the program to provide poor children with health care. What christian values are you talking about? Can you be more specific?

Ya i wish we had john McCain right now “My Friends” what we need is some more George Bush, we need more tax breaks for millioniare preachers and their churches. Hopefully the next thing Obama will do is END TAX EXCEMPT STATUS for churches These mega hell hole churches do nothing for our economy just suck up huge tax revenue this needs to stop.The mind set of u people is in the past, you are now the minority, the word is spreading science is the future and these old superstitions have to stop,its time to get proof to the questions we seek to anwser

Christian organizations have criticized President Obama for plans to relax the enforcement of the amendments that protect health care provider’s right of conscience. This is really a non-issue because conscience cannot be legislated or regulated by civil authority. Conscience cannot be a civil liberty issue. It is just more noise to take peoples’ attention off what is important.

When a new president is chosen, you have hope that things will improve. However, this has not been the case. Instead, this new administration has brought fear and trepidation to many people.
The values that have been so important since the beginning of our country are fast “going down the drain”. I see President Obama as a person who is fast becoming a dictator. He is doing things fast and furious without much thought to the consequences.
There will be an increase in the number of babies that are killed, people are losing their hard=earneded dollars and their homes, and the moral values that this country was founded upon are being trashed!!
What next, Mr. President? I am almost afraid to ask….May God touch your heart, as you profess to be a Christian, yet you do not present Christian values and ideals. And may God always bless our great country, America.
