Natural remedies that combat sinus problems

As the allergy season continues, many sufferers will be reminded that sinus problems not only affect their quality of daily life, but they may also be difficult to treat. However, some practitioners have recommended natural therapies as a good alternative.
Herbal remedies for sinusitis that have been long known to provide relief of congestion, breathing problems and coughing include pineapple extract called bromelain which is considered to be a natural anti-inflammatory agent.
Other popular remedies include grapefruit seed extract, potassium supplements that dry up mucous and apple cider vinegar diluted in water that is believed to thin mucous layers, according to EarthClinic.com.
Chinese medicine practitioners have also recommended head acupressure -pressing points located on either side of the neck in a depression at the base of the skull – or hand acupressure involving the point located about 1.5 inches in from the edge of the webbing between the index finger and thumb.
According to Dr. Mark Pitstick, a health commentator writing for the Chillicothe Gazette, those suffering from sinus problems should consider using a saline sinus rinse kit to flush particles from the sinuses painlessly.
He says some people have also benefitted from herbal supplements such as Sinupret, which contains a blend of five herbs, including European elder, common sorrel, cowslip, European vervain and gentian. 
I became allergic to penicillin in the late 80s. Then slowly added any mold or yeast to the list of things that would set off my year round allergies. By 1995 I was on “new” prescription allergy meds.
In 2002 I became allergic to the allergy meds, it only took 3 rounds of antibiotics and 4 trips to the doctor for “bronchitis” before I found out on my own the cause of my “illness”.
For the next 6 years I survived on a cocktail of sudafed and benadryl.
Finally, after researching alternatives I came upon my cocktail of RAW Apple Cider Vinegar and RAW local honey shaken well with filtered water.
Within two weeks I stopped taking my sudafed. My blood pressure dropped, my energy level soared and it has been 14 months since I had to use allergy medicine.
Doctors are not paid to make us well, they are paid the best when they keep us sick and symptom free with repeated treatments from the pharmacy.

For about 4 years I took a supplement “Great Earth Vitamins – Pollen Season Formula – with Aller 7.” It worked great. So, naturally they quit making it. Back to allergy problems.
Any idea on a cross reference to another product that would be the same?

Makes me sick to see those children praising Obama. the teacher and school principle should be fired. What are teachers teachig now? Makes sense they have removed the SAT test from schols. They do not teach things which are on those SAT test, like The Consitution Of The United States, who George Washington was, Benjamin Franklin, individuals that molded and made America what it USE to be….
