I am using satellite internet right now. It offers speeds to download realtime video. Between dial-up, satellite, and cable, there is enough competition to ensure a backlash to favoritism.
Government is just as corrupt as any other monopoly, especially at this obscure regulatory level. Please do not harness a consumer driven market with them.

Please remember that this is America. We are free men and women. We do not need the government regulating what is essentially an unlimited source of information.
If you need parental controls, it is available to you. But free adults need to be informed, and to inform others. We will take reasonable responsibility for that.

Yes. Regulation of any kind is a foot in the door to censorship. Zero tolerance for government intrusion.
Satellite internet is available at real time video speed. There is no need for regulation. The consumer will take care of corporate favoritism.
FCC regulated video and radio only deliver the left/right bickering and talking points. Three dimensional debate only takes place of the internet.
Help keep their filthy hands off the internet!!

Do you really think the internet businesses are helping you? You have been brainwashed to believe that the internet, is making everything better. Think about it. How much is your phone bill, how much do you pay for internet service? How much time has it stolen from your life? So far they haven’t policed themselves, they have had lots of time, so somebody has to be the sheriff.

Long ago, I came across an expression that seemed strange at first. As I got older, it became obvious that it’s true. That expression says “we have the best government money can buy.”
It is absolutely true. People have found ways to ignore it. Many couldn’t care less. The rest of us pay for it.
As for the FCC and congress, they rely on a basic formula to get and keep power. That is, 1) regulation=easy money. 2) taxation=control. 3) more taxation=total control. Anyone who thinks ‘net neutrality’ has anything to do with the FCC being truly neutral is someone who needs an immediate brain transplant.
Even now, many people just don’t get it. And they won’t ‘get it’ until they lose all of their freedom(s).

This is just another of many changes Obama has to socialize and control Americans and America. The voters spoke in Va. and NJ and today they were in Washington DC putting on quite a display for all to see. Pelosi should be shivering like a Chihuahua by now. Then again, she is pretty much a zombie these days anyway.

Does anyone know what bill number it is? I would like to read it. I don’t trust John McCain anymore than I trust the others. If he is involved he must be representing someone in the wireless business. During the election campaign, Verizon put a cell tower on his property as he wasn’t getting good service. I resent that my payments helped any candidate and two months later we got a rate increase. We need campaign reform. I think we have the best Congress that money can buy!!!! Thanks in advance to who gives me the bill number.
