U.N. Using Climate to Push One World Government Reforms

U.N. Using Climate to Push One World Government Reforms

With assaults on our nation’s freedoms and liberties coming from so many directions at the same time it is difficult to characterize one as being more dangerous than another. But a United Nations (U.N.) gathering scheduled for Dec. 7 – 18 may hold more lasting ramifications to U.S. sovereignty than anything the republic has ever faced.

That’s when the first overt attempt at establishing the framework of a One World Government will occur.

The U.N. Climate Change Conference is currently drafting a treaty that, if signed by President Barack Obama and ratified by the U.S. senate, would place the U.S. under an unelected, undemocratic world body that could impose taxes and place limits on industry, transportation, mining and energy production in order to limit carbon emissions.

Global warming zealots from around the world are scheduled to gather in Copenhagen, Denmark to try and suck billions of dollars from the U.S. economy and the economies of other industrialized nations and spread that money around to developing countries, all in the name of saving the planet.

As The Washington Times editorialized on Oct. 27:

“The treaty’s text is not yet finalized but its principles are aimed at regulating all economic activity in the name of climate security, with a side effect that billions of dollars would be transferred from productive countries to the unproductive.
“The control lever is the regulation of carbon emissions, which some purport are causing global warming. The treaty would establish a carbon market Regulatory Agency and “global carbon budget for each country.
“In effect, this would allow the treaty’s governing bodies to limit manufacturing, transportation, travel, agriculture, mining, energy production and anything else that emits carbon—like breathing.”

One of the few people sounding the alarm on this sinister conference is climate expert and foe of global warming alarmist Al Gore, Lord Christopher Monckton, former science advisor to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

“I read that treaty,” Monckton told the Minnesota Free Market Institute as posted on wattsupwiththat.com, “And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word ‘government’ actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the other countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, ‘climate debt,’ because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.”

The most recently-released copy of the treaty can be found here. Section 38 mentions government and outlines how it will be framed and financed.

The treaty is still a work in progress even though the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change had planned to have it finalized before the opening of the conference.

Obama first said he wouldn’t attend the conference unless the treaty is finalized. But he began backtracking on that statement last week, saying if his presence could push the deal through he would attend.

Hoping to spur a deal, California Senator Barbara Boxer in early November decided to pass a climate change bill out of committee without Republican support.

Without a clear indication from legislation of how much the U.S. is willing to contribute, the treaty probably won’t be finalized in time. Some other industrialized nations are also balking at the cost and regulations in the treaty, prompting U.N. climate Chief Yvo de Boer to say he didn’t think a legally binding agreement could be passed during the upcoming conference, but he thought one could be reached within a year.

Notice his use of the term, “legally binding.” That’s what they’re after, because once the treaty is signed by the president and ratified by the senate, any hope of America extricating itself from the agreement is gone.

“You can’t resign from the treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties,” Monckton said. “And because you’ll be the biggest paying country, they’re not going to let you out of it.”

And don’t think Obama won’t sign an agreement if it can be finalized. He’s signified he’s all in on the global warming boondoggle. And the Democrats only need to persuade six Republicans to join them to ratify the treaty.

Arizona Senator John McCain, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (who began working Nov. 5 to help draft compromise Cap and Trade legislation) and Maine Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins are likely defectors.

Signing such a treaty and ratifying it into law would be an unconstitutional ceding of U.S. sovereignty to another entity. But what’s one more unconstitutional act in Washington?

This is it folks!!!!!!!!!!!! One world government, now we know that Obama IS the ANTI-CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO YOU KNOW WHAT HIS FAVORITE NUMBER IS
    6 6 6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • You got that one right! Because of Obama’s early years in Indonesia, he is imbibed with Islamic logic, and now has in mind allegiances to other nations. This “world Treaty” stuff is a direct descendant of such thoughts. Why we as a nation still allow him to continue as president after this past years’s insults by him to our sovereignty is beyond me: Not wanting to keep the islands of Wrangell, Herald, Bennett, Jeannette and Henrietta, on which US claims were staked by US vessels over a century ago during the Whaling era, the apology for our patriotic acts, his insults to European rulers, his arrogance for accepting an unearned peace prize, his silence on the major killings at Fort Hood where he instead acknowledged the sacrifices by the dead, as if to approve this as a tribute to Islam, his wanting to close Gitmo; and the list continues to grow. Even Joe Biden can do a better job of defendingour Country’s future.

      • john larry says:

I don’t consider our president representing our interest. I feel he is anti american, and controlled by an out side entity. Health care, is not about Health care, but destroying the dollar. If this trillion dollar enterprise passes; the social upheaval that it will produce nationally, will cause massive inflation. If China and other countries decide not to accept our currency, then we will have unimaginable inflation.

        • denniso says:

you’re buying into all this crap about Obama being unamerican that is spouted by overt or closet rascists intent on destroying his presidency for their political and monetary gain…it’s garbage and dangerous talk that can incite a kook to do what most of you would like to see done to Obama. You’d better think about what you’re being a part of.
And, are you not aware that 47 million people have no health coverage, thousands die every yr from lack of healthcare and another 50 million are way underinsured?? And YOU don’t think healthcare reform is about health?? Try to think just a little on your own, and quit spreading lies and hysteria..please!

          • DaveH says:

You and Obama are the racists. You are also a donkey.

          • Becky says:

There’s DaveH calling people names again. Anyone that isn’t brainwashed like he is he calls names and trys to be little. What a guy!

          • Roger says:

you can always tell the liberals, first thing they do is to start the name calling, then they show their intelligence by blindly believing anything a democrat has to say. then they say we need to think on our own! racist, where dose a liberal get off calling a conservative a racist?

          • Jana says:

Call your Senator today on whether you want the Senate to vote on whether or not to have a discussion on this Health Care Bill. They are voting on this tomorrow, Sat.the 21st. If they vote yes, it is almost a positive that it will go through.

          • Dee D says:

denniso – How many posters here really know which President first bought into the OWO and brought it up at a summit meeting?
Would they bother to check it our or would be willing to believe it if they were to learn?
            I doubt it!!!!!

In my opinion, Obama is a fraudulent imposter- – at least until he Proves he eligible for the presidency. In my opinion, Global Warming is a Bald faced Lie,Obama is a Bald Faced Marxist Liar. Incidentally, Global warming has recently been outed as just that- – Fraud, Lies and intentional manipulation of fact to support the Communist/Marxis/”Fascist/Progressive statist Political dogma
Moreover, this president has malice against the United States. I do not know if that results from his being forced to attend Muslim schools in indonesia.

          • Dee D says:

Here we go again. I feel Obama has bought into the One World Order as well as the rest of our elite representatives. George Bush Sr brought up the plan at a Summit during his time in office, but of course it’s all Obama’s doing. This has been on the books quite awhile now. Why no yelling earlier folks? Oh, I know, Obama wasen’t the president then..

          • Dee D says:

Armageddon is a lot closer than most realize. The Anti-Christ will fight with everything he’s got, but he already knows he’s lost the battle. A lot of good people will be killed and maimed. After that comes the New Jerusalem. Many will be called but few will be chosen. So we really should prepare ourselves. I pray we all make it.

        • Jana says:

          John L
I agree with you that this health care bill is NOT about health care, it is about government control. There are too many other GREAT ideas out there that would work so much better than the government taking this project over that will cost the United States so much money, and give control over to a few.

I have truly tried to find some redeeming quality to you denniso, but you represent the obnoxious part of your party so well, and you seem so unhappy in your life. You rant and rave so much. I find myself feeling sorry for you.

      • Chris Bester says:

I live in South Africa under a Communist regime.so to speak!
Our freedom was surrendered to the ANC, which were taken over by the SACP.So subtly that they didn’t even realize it.
Our hope for survival vests in a Democratic US Government, but alas it seems that even the mighty USA has fallen prey to the Commies.
As a complete outsider I see no light at the end of the tunnel for your citizens.
By the way what are the US people doing about this sad state of affairs or have they accepted their fate much like my people in South Africa have?

        • George Manning says:

Many Americans are ambivalent, believing that in the USA no harm can come to our citizens because of our prominence and trust in our leaders.

The truth is better understood outside of our Country. People depend on the USA for a sort of balance. Countries depended on the”almighty dollar”. They used it as an international currency. This is no longer the case. Other countries are now hastening to get rid of dollars held in exchange for sound commodities so that wealth will not slip from current levels; not so Americans; they are locked into our currency, unable to afford escape into safer holdings. Americans are now living from day to day, while our Government is spreading more worthless paper backed with a failing trust in its diminishing value.

We are seeing a secret slippage of American sovereignty into a world government collective that will press down on our liberties and entrepreneurial creativity.

We don’t yet see the immense danger of losing our freedoms here.

Any enlightenment coming to us from abroad may help Americans to see that our form of government is a beacon to the rest of the world. Our loss will effect any possibility for uplifting the freedom of peoples throughout the world.

This global warming hoax, even if slightly true, is being used to further bring to the foreground, a world government, a world currency, and a control over the world’s citizenry unlike anything ever experienced world wide. We will all be losers unless we stop the direction of this subtle movement.

Here at home, we must react to halt this unbridled take-over.

          Thanks for your concern.

Paul I think Obama is laying the ground work for the the Anti Christ.
      Charles

      • Jana says:

I know he isn’t the anti-Christ, but he sure is laying the foundation for him. Obama is a front runner for the anti-Christ.

If we were to meet him he would probably be a very likable individual, but as President? No way. He is despicable and wrong for our country.
No, he sure doesn’t look out for our interests. He thinks he is President of the world.
He made a fool of himself in China. He went over and bowed to the Heads of State and he even did it wrong and they wouldn’t even show it in their own media because they were ashamed at the way he did it.

    • Jan says:

Wow, Paul…I thought I was the only one thinking this mad man was the Anti-Christ…it was obvious to me when he commanded the crowds when running for President. All the signs were there and still no one caught on to him. Now, the light is showing on him and people are waking up big time. Please stay awake and stand up this evil…God is on our side.

      • Curtis S says:

Why is God on YOUR side? How would you know? I thought God was on Israel’s side? What about Allah (praise be unto him)? Who’s side is he on? Wait, God is Allah. Oh all this made-up religious silliness is just too confusing. You can’t all be right, which means some of you must be lying or delusional.

        • Joe H. says:

          Curtis,
One thing I DO know is Islam is not on my side!!! As a non-believer I am under a death threat according to the Koran!

        • Jana says:

Muhammad took a lot of what the Bible says and twisted it. God and Allah are not the same.
From the way you talk you are Islamic. That is fine, it is your choice. Muhammad told you to follow the Bible also, but then he decided that God was calling him to be His avenger. That is when he separated from the One True God. God does not need anyone being his avenger.
According to Islam very few women can make it to heaven.
I could go on, but I do not want to put your faith down, please have the same respect for us. I will respond to you with the same respect you respond on here for us, and I do know and study the Qu’ran, so I can respond!

          • Kim says:

Do the muslims ever mention Jesus in the Koran?

          • Joe H. says:

            Jana,
what about the 21 virgins each martyr will be greeted by? must be a lot of them as many as we made into one!!!! I hope we keep making the terrorists into virgin meeters!!

          • coal miner says:

            Jana and kim,

God and Allah are the same.
Christ:A very important Prophet in the Koran.
            Mary and Joeseph:
            Moses:
            Gabriel the angel:
            Abraham:
            Adam and Eve:
            Satan:
Where do you get all this? All these characters I mentioned are in the Koran.Lets start respecting other people and their religions. We can solve a lot problems,by doing that.

          • American Citizen says:

Jana, you are correct. God and Allah are not the same. The Muslims view of God is different from that if the Christians. The Koran is based upon the Old Testament which, as you say, Mohammed twisted to his own views. “Vengeance is mine, says the Lord.” God does not force anyone to believe in Him. Forced belief is no belief at all. it’s compliance to keep from punishment. A childish belief. They also do not believe that God still interacts with man, that is, a personal God. Christians believe unless you carry Him in your heart, faith is dead.

          • Jana says:

Joe haven’t you heard they are really 21 Virginians. LOL

          • Jana says:

Thank you American Citizn, I couldn’t have said it better.
Also if God and Allah are the same then why would they call us infidels for worshiping God? Why would they demand that we all convert to Islam?
I will repeat Islam is a religion by man for man. Not by women and definitely not for women. Women have been brainwashed so that they have no choice, but it is against women. Women are property, and lowly property at that.

          • coal miner says:

            Jana,

How come the word God is used over in Iran? They say God is great.I heard pentecostal preachers called Catholics and Baptists infidels.A woman was elected Prime minister of Pakistan, both men and women voted for her. This is a Moslem country.

          • Jana says:

Coal miner I can’t nor will respond to that because I have not heard this. I do not even know you so you could be fabricating all of this.

          • libertytrain says:

Jana – keep in mind the Coal Miner’s reference to the lovely Pakistani female Prime Minister -Benazir Bhutto (was prime minister for a brief time in 1988 before she was forced to flee the country – she had a horrific history in her beloved Pakistan – So, they elected a woman in 1988 – made her flee the country then -assassinated her (2 months) after her return in 2007 – as she was running for office once again –

Catholics have been called infidels or names similar by the Baptists as well – however one needs to do some research to see where all these other Christian religions sprouted from – it is all so silly – In my town – they had to put clear windows on the Catholic Church because some of the Baptist Churches thought they were sacrificing human beings – People are so peculiar.

          • Dee D says:

Jana – At the tower of Babel God learned first hand just how mankind was not able to work together to prosper.
So he sent them all to different parts of the world he created. In doing so each tribe subscribed to their own personal agenda’s.
Could that be one reason we have such a variety of religious branches?
I’m personally not intelligent enough to say which is right and which is wrong.
But I also believe if everyone would do their best to subscribe and live by the original Commandments, then we just may get to inherit and live together in the promised New Jerusalem. The decision is ours alone to make. Many will be called, but few will be chosen.

        • coal miner says:

          Curtis,

Well said:Respect for others and their religiouws belief.

          • Jana says:

I notice the ones who want the respect will not give the respect. It is only respect and tolerance for what YOU think, no one else.

          • Dee D says:

Jana and coal miner – Could the word Infidel in the Muslim or Islamic vocabulary mean Hypocrite? Something to think about and I must plead ignorance to knowing their language.
However my God explains how hard it is for an hypocrite to make it into heaven.

      • denniso says:

You people spouting this anti christ baloney don’t realize it makes you sound like total id__ts!! Wake up and open your eyes and brains for once..quit spewing these idiocies!!

        • Jana says:

denniso, you have told us before that you were educated. Then if you are so smart, why don’t you just skip the posts that bother you?
You need to watch your blood pressure.

          • coal miner says:

            Jana,

You religious nuts got a bad habit calling people liars.A woman was priminister of that country.Liberty backs up what I said.Religion is everybody’s choice, but people like you turn it into something ugly.Years ago a Catholic family move next door to a pentecostal family.Their kids got harass at school and their house got broken into,a sign said Infidel was placed in their living room, they sold their place and left in fear. The state police investigated and found out indeed the pentecostal family were behind it.No charges were filed.

          • Jana says:

            .

Coal Miner, I am so sorry that you have had some bad experiences. A lot of people do things in the name of “religion” and even in the name of God that is not Godly at all.
            What happened was wrong.
People all over the world do things “in the name of…..” whatever, but it does not mean they represent whatever they are doing it in the name of that organization. That just gives them a reason so they can hate someone. Or as is true in many cases, others label them and put them in these catagories.
Just like with Obama. I don’t hate the man. He is very likable and I don’t want anything to happen to him, but I do not agree with his goals for this country.
Yet you resort to calling me a religious nut. Sir, you are not even acting like a gentleman.

Skye – I wonder if the anti christ is still chained in the pit God chained him in to give mankind 1000 years to decide which direction he was to travel. Maybe he’s ready to turn him loose on us. Maybe he’s stepping in to help us once more. A couple of deaths and several not running for re-election. Is God trying to save a few good ones or cleaning out some chaf? Interesting.

From what you say it makes you sound like you have so much fear. God must be really dealing with you for you to spout off like you do. You sound like someone who is trying to convince himself. Otherwise if their truly was no God, why would it bother you so much?

Back in the 70′s when I was in the Marines,I went to Little Rock ark. with a buddy. He drove us out ti the middle of no where. There was a huge fenced in area. Acres and acres of military tanks, Trucks, armored personnel carriers. Thousands of them. The thing that bothered me most, and still does today……They all were U.N. marked. Never did find out why the were there. But to be on the safe side stock pile your ammo. 9mm and 5.56mm and it wouldn’t be dumb to add a few hundred rounds of .40s&w and 7.62mm. You can’t stock pill a bunch of guns to expensive and heavy. But in the marines the 1 thing they stressed ,when in a hostile govt controled area and you need a gun..call 911 they deliver 24/7.

The president is just the most liberal member of the entire congress (Senate & House) that was elected to the highest & most powerful polictical position in the world. I will say that it is pssible & I think true, that the whole Green Initiative is the lefts new religion. Saying that, Does that mean they’re atheists? I’m just asing the question.

  2. Robert says:

So. What else is new. Nothing surprises me anymore about the politicans attempt to dismantle the greatest democracy the world has ever known. Did you see Obama bow to the Japanese emporer? He did it with the Saudi king and the White house replied that he didn’t bow, he was merely shaking hands with an arab midget.

    • Lou says:

Our elected representatives have been chipping away at the constitution for almost one hundred years. The only real difference now, is instead of chisels, they’ve got wrecking balls! The weaker they make the Constitution, the more likely UN and/or international law will succeed. It’s a fact that if every single American drove a Prius Hybrid for 10 years, the amount of carbon reduction would be .072% Maybe we should just ask congress to keep their mouths shut! Oh yeah, We as Americans have to come to the realization that we (I have not voted Democrat since 1991)elected these idiots to congress. Not once but for several terms. We’re to blame as well. & now we’re all worried what they’re proposing & what this country could become over the next 5 years. Scary?? Thomas Jefferson said “When a people fear the Government, that’s called tyranny. When the Government fears the people that’s called Liberty” (how soon we forget!) As far as the UN, Yes I do agree that this is an evil organization that has motives that are all anti American, but what about the IRS(Americas version of the KGB), The Federal Reserve Bank (which by the way is not Federal, is NOT a Bank & they’re are no Reserves). It’s just a large printing press & is also unconstitutional.

Are childrens future is ay stake. What kind of legacy will we have left them when we allowed our elected officals to buden them with a 11 Trillion dollar debt?

I can go on but I’ve got to go back to work. Something the left don’t really have a concept of.

      Lou

      • DaveH says:

        Lou,
It’s $12 Trillion now and going up fast. That’s $40,000 for every man, woman, and child in this country. And it’s almost $90,000 for every worker in the country. Unbelievable!
        http://usdebtclock.org/

        • Joe H. says:

Try something like 340,000 dollars a piece. It’s higher than you think!!

          • Kim says:

            Isn’t it like $567,989.99?

          • DaveH says:

Those are unfunded liabilities Joe which presumably will be covered by the current level of taxes. However, if a private company were to operate their pension plans like the Government operates Social Security (hand to mouth), the Government would be all over them. Now we know why the public education system prefers not to teach the young people anything about economics.

    • Wayne H Risch Jr says:

Robert, if we would all stop using the term “Democracy” we would be better off. Since we do not and have never lived in a democracy. We are a Republic. If you don’t know the difference look them up. But our founders knew that a democracy would fail and they were right to protect us from that kind of rule. However our citizenry is not active enough in their own government that we may fail anyway?

      • Robert says:

Sorry. I thought Texas was the republic. Just waiting for them to secede so I can pack my bags and move to the real America.

        • Stacy says:

My cousin who lives in Texas told me the other day that there was talk in Texas of secession. Wow! Intriguing idea…

          • Jana says:

I’m a Texan. There is always that talk from a few, but I am also a proud American of the United States and I feel that she is worth fighting for. So does my husband.

          • Jana says:

I should have said I am a proud citizen of the United States of America, and I feel my country is worth fighting for.

        • Tommy Barns says:

I herd Obama say he was getting ready to sell Texass to the Chineese so he can pay off debt. He wants to make sure Bush has to leave his home or becume Chineese. It’s only way he can make chinnese happy because they now want their money back but we don’t got it so we have ta sell Texass to them.

          • coal miner says:

            Tommy,

Did you read Sarah Palin’s new book?It is called( If You Can’t Stand The Heat,Get Out Of The Kitchen). There is another book called( MY Daughter’s Virgin Birth)these new books will be at your local Republican book store, soon.Don’t worry we are paying rent on Texas and should have it paid off by the year 3515.

          • Joe H. says:

            coal miner,
O-man wrote a new book too. It’s titled “Health care will be budget neutral and 1000 other lies I told the people.”

          • Jana says:

You all are so funny. You are so afraid of Sarah Palin because she speaks truth of which you have no answer. She is a human being with human faults, but you just go ahead and let your true colors be shown, green for envy, red for hate.

          • Grant S. says:

Jana: It is not Palin that scares people (she is, after all a lightweight who can be easily manipulated by her own staff), but rather what she represents: ideology over reason, ignorance over intelligence, and retaliatory anger coupled with a persecution delusion. Palin doesn’t scare us; her supporters, however, do. To be that easily cajoled into a whirling Dervish mix of hate/persecution complex (with little substance backing it, by the way)–it’s frankly alarming that this is happening so easily in America.

        • coal miner says:

          Robert,

Sarah Palin’s husband belongs to a group that wants Alaska to secede from the Union. This group indeed wants Alaska to beome a independent Country. They bear watching.

  3. Russell EnDean says:

Time to dissolve the UN. It is too expensive for the US. The UN nonesense distracts the world from the real problems. Every Wacko from every Psycho ward of every inconsequential nation is represented, with equal voting rights, rediculous. I say, give everyone 90 days notice to get out of the UN Secretariat building, and then bring in wrecking ball.Net US Saves $40B/Yr.? Net US saves $$$$ Billions more in security problems originated in this disgraceful organization.

    • Wootmiester says:

You are quite correct. The UN has no place in the American way of life. If others want to participate in this experiment in Idiocy then so be it. But get the Un out of our Country and out of our lives. The only ones that will be helped are the power grabbers such as thw Washington D.C. Messiah. While expelling the UN to foriegn shores maybe they should include Obummer and the others who are trying to wipe out America.

    • JeffH says:

If nothing else, kick the UN out of the US and withdraw our support and membership.

    • Jessica says:

Wrecking ball, hell! That big, ugly box would make a perfect upscale condo. And that way we could recoup some of the money fleeced out of us by those Third World parasites.

    • American Citizen says:

It’s time for the U.S. to get out of the UN and the UN to get out of the U.S. The UN is responsible for the global warming crap to begin with. There are few countries in that group that will stand with us in trying to bring basic freedoms to their people. They are envious of our successes and refuse to work with us. Hatred brings its own destruction.

  4. Ira L. Imler says:

What the hell can we do to put a stop to this insanity?? The democrats are selling this country down the river!!! Isn’t there something we the people can do to save our nation from these socialists???

    • Russell EnDean says:

The US Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States provides for the temporary formation of a FOURTH branch of government, called Grand Jury. Grand Jury is formed for the sole purpose of removing a corrupt administration. Then, when the mission is accomplished, the fourth branch dissolves.

Impeachment is the other method, but is less likely, because it requires the internal cooperation of the Commisars, which is not likely. They are deaf to the millions of US Citizens protesting Socialized Medicine so they are unlikely to re-gain their hearing for this matter.

Those are the two legal methods which I know.

      • sue eighmy says:

Then it is time we form a Grand Jury as per Constitution to remove this administration before it is too late. How do we do this?

        • Suzanne Short says:

We need to get as many people as possible to join the American Grand Jury. Just go to the AmericanGrandJury site and there is info regarding the case to remove Obama. He has done and will keep doing more actions against our Constitution. He got away with Number One by committing treason and took the office of the Presidency. He needs to be removed A.S.A.P., if we want our country back on the Road of once again being a Republic.

        • denniso says:

Get real!! Or, get a job, or donate your time to a good cause..at the least, quit wasting your time buying into this silliness!

          • JeffH says:

It’s all “silliness” to you. Real Americans don’t look at it like you do, just a game of childish words. We have a tendancy to take our freedom a little more seriously than your childish mind could ever comprehend. You are still playing that Pied Piper Obama’s little game called “Rules for Radicals” hosted posthumously by Saul Alinsky.

          • Beberoni says:

Maybe he will when you quit voting for George Soros.

          • Elaine says:

This One-World Gov is Serious. It is prosphesized in GOD’s HOLY BIBLE: Daniel, Revelation, Ezeikel, Izziah. It is not a fable or fairy tale like unbelievers want it to be. This One-World Gov will usher in the AntiChrist. All who are not watching and looking for the REAL KING is going to find out what Shock and Awe really is. These puny little sissy men who think they are so powerful are going to see what power is. Believe me it is not going to be pretty for unbelievers. If you are not ready to meet your Creator, you had better quit taking your stupid pills and get ready.

        • coal miner says:

          Sue,

You are out of your tree. They said the same thing about George Walker BushJR.They wanted to impeach him, the first week he was in office. If you don’t like the man, vote him out.He won it fair and square, stop whining, get on with your life.

          • DaveH says:

            Miner,
I wasn’t aware that you are also into the personal attack tactic. I thought better of you.

          • Pamela says:

I am so tired of listening to all the crap! If everyone on this web-site knows so much, then instead of bitching and belly aching.. go run for office and change things!!.Other wise you are smart enough to know that through history B/S has been going on forever and everyone has always been whinning.. We as the humans on the planet have ruined it and unless we change our pattern.. no one will be around for much longer any way. Look in the “Mirror” and make a change.. If everyone in the world would do this on a small scale, It would be amazing how much we could do! if everyone would just start with themselves and clean up our own back yards first, that would be amazing!! We all know that this wonderful U.S. of A.has never been run by just one Man. For those who think it has needs to take a brush up 101 course on America at your local college. good luck on all your thoughts and comments here on out! Un-less you can get the American people to vote you in, I’m afraid your comments will be just that! comments! you always get more with honey then vinager, and it tastes so much better! Have a great day!! Lets make this world a better place and let it start with you! .:)

          • jim says:

            sue you are so right

          • DaveH says:

There is a cure. Don’t listen.

          • CindyL says:

Pamela, this is just a site for the good ole’ boys to get excited and pumped up about starting a revolution. This is not a place to seek out answers or to even get a working platform with solutions. This is a cheerleader site. I’m here trying to figure out how radical the Libertarians are. To see if they really believe in their party platform or if it is a bunch of crap just like the other two parties platforms are. So far alot of hyprocrisy. Talking out of both sides of their mouths. They are looking for members so there is alot of sucking up that goes on. I do like your comments.

    • Yes! VOTE ALL DEMOCRATS OUT OF OFFICE IN 2010!

      • DaveH says:

        And many of the Republicans.

        • Jana says:

Exactly, these people are supposed to represent us, not have their own personal agenda, but they do. We need to vote them all out and start with a clean slate with term limits.
They think they are our leaders. NO, they are NOT. They have made this their career. It is now time to end their careers.

          • George Manning says:

Jana, in reading through these many replies, so many yours, I find you an intelligent, enlightened individual.

Your thought of term limits for all our elected governmental leadership is logical thinking in my opinion. The benefits and income, no less, the expense accounts, are a serious attraction to foster career politics.

We stopped run on presidencies after Roosevelt. It is time to step up grass roots outcry against run on elected careers.

One who wishes to lead should strive to do so. The “peter principle”, a Platonic principle can improve government “of, by, and for the people”.

            Regards,

            George Manning

      • Wayne H Risch Jr says:

AND ALL THE REPUBLICANS AND INDEPENDENTS TOO!!! We need to break up the party politics and hold them ALL accountable. They answer to US not the PARTY.

        • Stacy says:

To James, Dave and um, Howard? You guys have it exactly correct! Every incumbent needs to go to the back of the unemployment line! Now we are talking! I have enjoyed my time here today. :)

          • Beberoni says:

Exactly. Vote out all the incumbants this election, and let them know we have the power, not them. If they want to hold office and get re-elected, they need to run again and do what they are supposed to, represent the people, not their party.

        • Stacy says:

Sorry Wayne! Couldn’t remember your name and couldn’t locate the post to properly address you.

        • Joe H. says:

          Wayne,
theres a movement out called flip the house and it wants to vote ALL incumbents out!!!

    • Frank says:

Obama has lied to the American people even before Big Labor, the Unions, bought the White House for him! He has continually put down the US in the eyes of our enemies and our friends around the world. Obama is, first and foremost, a Muslim! You can see pictures of him wearing Muslim clothing, just as the Fort Hood shooter was seen wearing! The Muslims have sworn to destroy America, and with Obama at the lead and the likes of Senator Reid and Pelosi, trying to pass bills that will absolutely bankrupt and cripple our nation, they have one hell of a head start! The American people, as a whole, have to start flooding their Senators and Congressmen with phone calls, FAXES, E-Mails and letters to try and change the direction in which Obama is leading us! The American people have to stand up and not just voice your opinions, with the way these Senators and Congressmen turn ‘deaf ears’ to us, you will probably have to yell like hell! I don’t care if you are a Republican, Democrat, Independent or what, this current administration is making a mockery of our Constitution and, in my estimation from what Obama has done to keep his identy a secret, just shredding it and our Bill of Rights to pieces!
If this government were to just ENFORCE our Constitution, instead of mocking it, I think a good many of our country’s problems would start to be healed/corrected! For example, the immigration problem, if the government enforced the Constitution to the letter of the law, for everyone, Senators and Congressmen alike, the illegal alien problem would start to resolve itself, with a little assistance from all City, State and Federal officials! I can’t believe that 12 to 20 million illegal aliens/immigrants would stay in our country, knowing they are going to be deported when caught! I beleive once the employers stop hiring these illegal aliens, they would realize there is nothing here for them and they would for the most part, go home! There is the criminal part of these aliens, that we will have to deal with no matter what; but it sure as hell isn’t 12 to 20 million! That is just one way to start helping ourselves! I’d like to hear more idas if anyone has them. I’ve written enough for now, I will gladly respond to other writers!

      • DaveH says:

We can’t blame our problems on the illegals. Although I agree they should be removed from our country until they can come back in legally.
Our problems stem from the idea that government is the solution. We need to get active and turn this behemoth back towards the Limited Government that our forefathers established. There is only one party that I know which embraces the freedom and Limited Government that the Founders envisioned. That is the Libertarian Party:
        http://libertarianparty.org/platform
We champion individual liberty and individual responsibility and Limited Government.

        • denniso says:

Once again I’m amazed to find myself agreeing w/ DaveH…it’s more than absurd to blame our problems on illegal immigration.
BUT, you are sounding more and more like a used car salesman for the libertarian party. Though even I agree w/ some of their positions, they are a fringe party that can never get elected in our 2 party system. If we were more like Europe(who most of you loathe)w/ a parliamentary system, we could have minor party representation..but America knows better than the rest of the entire world as you guys repeat over and over, so get used to it. We had an election and your old man and beauty queen lost..we’re in charge now.

          • DaveH says:

Damn, makes me want to change my position. Don’t worry Denniso, you wouldn’t be welcome in my Party. We respect individuals. We have principles and facts on our side. We don’t need to disparage anybody who doesn’t agree with us like you Liberals do.

          • Beberoni says:

Why do you continually bust Dave’s chops on the Libertarian thing? You see, Im a Republican, and your a Dumbocrat, and its not like either of these two parties have been kicking butt for America and its people for quite awhile now, eh? Im ready to try something new. Im tired of the finger pointing and the towing the party line. Im tired of Republicans acting like liberals. And Im definately sick of liberals. Im sick of their moral-less, gutless attempts at destroying America. Im sick of the Republicans kissing up to them, instead of telling them to go to hell. Ill try something new. Im just waiting on them to raise up some good candidates. Ron Paul, Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, and the likes of them. That would be a good start. My Republicans are making me sick as to what they have become, and your left wing liberals need to get out of the country as far as most of us are concerned. Yeah, its high time for something new.

          • Joe H. says:

            denniso,
there IS an answer. If you like the idea of a parlimentary system, I”M sure we could raise the funds right here on this one thread for a one way ticket to any of the parlimentary governments you prefer!!! All without charge to you!! See, We are very nice here!!

          • JeffH says:

JoeH, I’ve made that proposal before. I’m all in.
Berboni, I agree with you too.

          • denniso says:

I’m not ‘busting poor DaveH’s chops…All I’m saying is that we have a 2 party system that is entrenched..minor(fringe) parties cannot win in our system, whether they’re any good or not. If we want more varied representation then we have to have a parliamentary system…if you don’t like that idea, because it’s european, then you should accept what we do have…2 parties that vy for power and control, when your party loses you organise for the next election..you don’t mount an armed insurrection or try to impeach the new prez on NO grounds.

          • Jackie says:

Democrats have majorities in both houses yet they still blame all of their problems on the Republicans. What a joke.

      • Lou says:

Oh yeah, Illegal Emigrants? Didn’t George Bush say he was going to secure our boarders? Didn’t he also say that he was going to forgo free market principles to save free market principles? How the hell do you pull that one off? Has anyone seen the real time US Debt clock? As it stands right now (11/16/09) the US Debt is $11.9 Trillion dollars. The liability per US citizen is $344,686.00
The IRS & The Fed need to be abolished. The Capital Gains Tax needs to be elimiated. FACT: Did you know that instaed of the $800,000,000.00 (Eight Hundred Billion) congress spent on this SO CALLED Stimulus Bill, It would’ve been cheaper to give every single US tax payer a Two Month tax Holiday! Can you imagine what we could’ve done with that extra cash? That in itself would’ve given a REAL boost to the economy for the simple fact, “who knows how to spend your hard earned money better, the Government or YOU!!!

        • roger says:

$344,686.00……I wont be worth that much the rest of my life…..would be worth more dead………HEY….WAIT A MINITE!!!!!!!!!!

          • Beberoni says:

Dont feel bad Roger. Over 90 percent of us that work, are worth more dead than alive. Kind of sucks doesnt it? And knowing that, they want us to pay for these cats that dont want to work. Ive got a problem with that.

          • JeffH says:

            Recieved an e-mail today, kinda interesting;

Proposed 28th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States:

“Congress shall make no law that applies to any citizen of the United States
that does not apply equally to all U.S. Senators and Representatives and
Congress shall make no law that applies to any U.S. Senator or
Representative that does not apply equally to all citizens of the United
States. All existing laws and regulations that do not meet these criteria
            are herewith null and void.”

          • libertytrain says:

JeffH – like that amendment – hopefully the President and VP are included in that as well as his cabinet, czar’s etc.

        • Jana says:

Oh Jeff, I really like that 28th Amendment. I would go for that in a heartbeat. They should not exclude themselves on anything that they put into law.
I noticed the Sr.’s are not getting a cost of living raise on their Social Security which generally covers their insurance premium increase. But, the government is getting a raise. I think they need pay freezes. There are so many without jobs.
Normal for a Obama who does not represent the citizens of this country.

          • JeffH says:

Jana, it is too bad that there are no morals in politics or DC. This wouldn’t even get past the delete button on their computers.

      • Robert says:

        Frank God Bless you.

      • panovian says:

Most of iligals are young and healthy.
Enroll all of them in the military, traine and deploy them in Iraq and Aphganistan until the job is finished and then give them citizenship.

      • George Manning says:

        Frank—

Your basic thinking is correct in my estimation. It is, indeed, timely for Americans to pull together to protect our American way. Without earning a legal place in our society, the old saying, ” you are who you hang with” influences the subtle power move to change our Country to submit to BIG GOVERNMENT TAKE OVER.

When we allow interference in our personal goals to succeed, and demand a sort of financial support for those who do not contribute, we begin to erode the society that evolves through individualism and American entrepreneurialism.

Speak to your neighbors about freedoms. Take an interest in helping others in need through charities and individual contributions, but don’t buy in to the belief that our government can do this for us.

We have the fabric here to promote a better society without larger government controls.

Your idea that illegals, as Obama likes to call them, “undocumented inhabitants”, will leave on their own has merit.

I like to think that we can offer a year’s employment to those that are here and living underneath the radar. Employers should commit to a legal year of employment. Those illegals that are not with gainful employment or are not living as family with gainful employment must be deported with no penalty. Our prisons should be emptied of the illegals imprisoned, and they returned to their native lands.

Employers should be guided to follow a procedure. If, after a year, the “undocumented” proves work-worthy, extend the work status again, keeping mindful that a five year employment makes that individual eligible for permanent residency.

We will never find all the illegals; however, without work, most will return home.

        Regards,

        George Manning

your country needs a revolution. your people need to grow some balls take your country back. BUT YOU PEOPLE CARE FOR NOTHING BUT MONEY,AND WILLING TO ANY THING TO GET IT, EVEN SACRIFICE YOUR OWEN CHILDRENS FUTURE.NOTHING BUT WAR MONGURES. ALL FOR MONEY.

      • American Citizen says:

You don’t know how wrong you are. We value our Constitution and the freedoms it gives us above all else. It has been bought with blood, sweat and tears. That’s why our military is still involved in the world. Appeasement to those countries bent on destroying us does not work. It’s been tried and failed.

      • Patty says:

Ann, the only thing you have right is that we need a revolution to take our country back. You obviously aren’t a US citizen and know nothing about the way Americans help and support not only each other, but other nations who need it. You probably live in a country that’s taken from us and still bad mouth us. Sick of your types.

        • Robert says:

Patty I’am with you, we need to have a serious revolution and take our country back. The left leaning people on both sides scare the hell out of me. I have fought for this country and will not give it over to a bunch of one world (UN Idiots). Can’t people on both sides see what is happening here. There are groups out there who will destroy our constitution and our country while making you think its okay to give up your rights to some One world Government. Well alot of us will die before that happens. Keep the Idiots off our streets and out of our country.

        • CindyL says:

Patty, may I ask who you are supporting other than the radical right of the Republican party? Since when is starting a civil war supporting other Americans?

          • Jana says:

It is always odd that you have to call anyone who is a conservative a Radical. So now that tells me, that you who seem to know so much about radicals are a left wing RADICAL yourself.
They have even said that our soldiers fit into that category??? Where do they get off on that?
The one I hear talking about a gun type of revolution is you and your kind, it is not coming from us. We are talking about a revolt at the polls. A legal revolt. Of course it doesn’t seem to make a dent in your radical brain.

      • DaveH says:

I do agree with Ann in the sense that we are wasting our time trying to be the world’s policemen – no matter how noble our intentions. We do need to punish those that attack us, but the nation-building just doesn’t work. How many of those countries that we have protected thank us for that? We need to pull out and let them protect themselves if they care. We are just furthering the impoverishment of our nation by trying to be the World’s Policemen. Our Founders were mostly against the US getting involved in the military affairs of other countries and I agree with them.

      • William says:

ANN i do have balls its my right to write this the 1st amendment allows this the 2nd amendment enforces the 1st.to over throw the tyranny of government.People dont know their rights and others misinterpret its meaning.

      • Robert says:

Yes I bet over the years and decades when we spilled American Blood for you to probably beable to say those things you sure was glad America was there. Pleaser go back to your little corner and and eat your cheese. When they come for you don’t yell for help, because we are tired of spilling our Blood for you.You if you don’t like it here leave this is Ameica and we will never give it up, even if we have to fight in the streets for it. And believe me Raggety Ann there are enought of us to do it. WE ARE AMERICANS.

      • El Chichon' says:

        Ann,
You wouldn’t have the right to sit there on your duff criticizing the American people the way you do if it wasn’t for an American Soldier. You should be back-handed for your insulting remarks. You should apologize to all who have read your hateful remarks. You must be French.

        • Curtis S says:

Oh El Chichon you’re so manly wanting to back-hand a woman. Bravo you little man. Thanks for resurrecting the Hollywood myth that America saved the world in two wars. Oh the brave Americans who joined World War I after it had been going on for four years. Nothing like getting into a fight long after it’s started. Did you know that World War II started in September 1939? Again, where was America? You guys didn’t bother getting involved until two years later! (Thankfully Joe Kennedy and Bush’s family weren’t involved or you would have joined the war on the German side.) Yes El Chichon, go slap Ann and then sit down and tell your children how America won the great war against Grenada.

          • Joe H. says:

            Curtis S,
I think we could make you the same offer we made to denniso. The way the war was going when we DID get involved was insurmountable for the forces fighting. Had we not gotten involved they would have lost as many scholars a lot smarter than us have said! Even France and England would have been speaking German.

          • JeffH says:

Curtis S, what is up with your hate for America? Can’t you afford a way out or is it that America is a far safer venue than your country of origin? Be careful, someone might report you to the INS or the DHS. Opps! Sorry, you are a liberal hack, you’re safe for now!

          • DaveH says:

Curtis is living proof why we need to pull out all support from the thankless European countries. Let them sink in their own sewage.

          • American Citizen says:

We got into WW2 because we were attacked! Have you forgotten about Pearl Harbor or were you absent the day they taught about that in school? You liberals try to have things both ways, i.e., don’t get involved but what do you do when you’re attacked as we were on 9/11? Should we have “turned the other cheek” again as we had so many times before? That only gave the terrorists the balls to attack us on 9/11.

          • Jana says:

American Citizen, most Liberals are pacifists. You know the type who would not lift a finger to protect their own families unless forced to do so. Pacifists are next to cowards. You can never trust a pacifist. I think we are dealing with several cow oh, I meant pacifists in this group. Poor misguided souls.

          • Grant S. says:

            Jana: Jesus was a pacifist.

          • Jana says:

Grant. Jesus was not a pacifist. He came to divide the world, and He did. He bucked the system, and let them know they were wrong. The system I am talking about was not the political system it was the so called “religious” system, and no pacifist could do that. Obama is not a pacifist either.

          • Grant S. says:

Jana: well I guess that’s the difference between your interpretation of the bible and mine; but god told me what’s right, so it’s going to be difficult for you to argue with me. Your hate-filled, judgmental, nihilist version of christianity has way more in common with the islam that you hate so much. I’m not trying to be harsh or critical–it’s HISTORY! Right?

          • Jana says:

            Ewww Grant,
The snake has finally slithered out of his hole and you have shown your true colors. You have labeled yourself with your sadistic accusations.
I have no intention of arguing with you. We do NOT serve the same God. I serve THE ONE TRUE LIVING GOD.
You said you were not trying to be harsh or critical which is not true because that is your total intention, so that also labels you as a liar.

          • Jana says:

One more thing dear Mr. Grant:
In one posting you claim you are a super smart guy, so much smarter than any of the rest of us on this board, and you have so much education. Hmmm, reminds me of the phrase “educated idiots”. If the shoe fits etc. etc. You also claimed to be an agnostic. You sure are all over the board here on yourself. Me thinks you are just a little too full of yourself!
If you are an agnostic then as you claim, then you have no god in your life. You don’t need to try and study the Word in a foreign language. You have enough trouble reading and speaking English.

You see Mr. G., if you tell the truth all of the time then you don’t have to try and remember any lies that you have told before.

        • Grant S. says:

Yeah, insult the French–that’s intelligent. What is it with Americans’ utter and complete insecurity complex with the French? Why?!?! Just leave it! We as a culture must be so threatened by the French to continually wig out with such ridiculous insults.

          • Jana says:

Grant, How in the world is it an insult to say we came to the aid of the French? We were glad to do it.
By the way, we didn’t make this up, this is called HISTORY.

          • Joe H. says:

            Grant,
If you were talking to me, please tell me where I insulted the French? If there was a lie in that post, show us all!!! We did save the French’s assets in WW2!! That’s called historical FACT!!

          • CindyL says:

JoeH, you are aware that the French made it possible for us to get our freedom from Britian don’t you? Without the French you wouldn’t be free today. What happened to not wanting to look back, only moving forward? Don’t want to review what Bush did to country, but you will go back to WW2 and make comments about the French? Unbelievable.

          • Grant S. says:

Jana, Joe H: I was replying to El Chichon’s “You must be French” comment…as if the entire 65 mil. citizens of France are all the same.

Jana: Thanks for the reminder “we didn’t make this up”…I was completely unaware of America’s involvement in WWII. You’re a breath of fresh air.

Joe H.: Yes we *did* save the “assets” of the French (obviously widely acknowledged and never disputed, as far as I know), in partnership with several other nations, including the Canadians…something about which French-hating Americans cannot stop shrieking, despite most French people’s actually not having forgotten and something for which they are grateful–but they are equally totally irritated by continually being reminded in an utterly aggressive (and frequently ignorant and rude) manner.

          • American Citizen says:

Grant, Jesus was not a pacifist, he did pick up a whip and use it. He showed that when it is necessary, it’s the thing to do. I believe He also showed the government has the right to use corporal punishment/death penalty by submitting Himself to it. But – it should only be used in extreme cases when a homicidal maniac needs to be removed from society. Society has the right to protect itself.

      • noreen cerino says:

No, Ann, that’s our government your talking about…..not the American people. We are the first ones to lend a hand when disaster hits anywhere in the world {everyone loves us then}. The American people as a whole are among the most generous and giving people in the world.I don’t know where you are from, but I do know that when a large part of our country and its people were devastated by Katrina, you were nowhere to be found…..and if you find us so greedy and selfish, what are you doing here?

    • chuck says:

Biblical prophesy foretold these events we are now seeing in our daily
lives thousands and hundreds of years ago.

      • Beberoni says:

In the last days, or the end times, there will be more frequent fires and floods and earthquakes and other disasters. Wrong will become right, and right will become wrong. These are just birth pangs, and are the beginning of things to come. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that this is all true, does it Chuck? And some people still reject the truth. I dont know why, but they do, and its all there, and it always has been there. But so many fear the truth. Why?

        • Richard Pawley says:

Well, Beberoni, I believe some fear the truth because they do not know that God loves them and that there is nothing they can do to make Him love them more than He does, no particular church or denomination or cult they can join or thing they can do to be accepted. They need to learn to turn to Him and seek Him according to Biblical traditions and they will find He already loves them and accepts them. Others fear the truth because it might imply they have to change and they don’t want to do that. Some fear the truth because they think they don’t measure up or they are not worthty. I’ll let you in on a secret: No one is worthy. Jesus didn’t even like men to call him good. He said there is one who is good, Our Father in Heaven. For others it is just fear itself.

          • Beberoni says:

And also, so many people have the misconception that if they go to church or become a Christian, that they have to do all kinds of stuff. Not true. You dont have to do nothing, and you cant do nothing. Its allready been done for you, when He said I love you this much, and spread His arms and took the nails. Thats it. There is nothing to do. Nothing one can do to earn or work their way in. Nothing you can do to not be allowed, other than to reject Him. All youve got to do is say, “I want You in my life”. Its all been done. People are so full of this idea that they have to do this, and do that, and none of it is true. Now other religions, like Islam, they have to jump through all kinds of hoops, like facing Mecca and praying 7 times a day. They do all this, for what? God says if you dont have the Son, you dont have the Father. Only one way up, and that is through Jesus Christ. Thats it.

          • CindyL says:

Richard, am interested, do you believe that Christians should pass judgements on others? I am not saying make judgements, I said pass judgements.

        • DaveH says:

The Liberals will blame Global Warming.

          • Beberoni says:

I have noticed this year Dave, that Al Gore and his global warming buddies have kind of been hiding out since its been so much cooler this year. Whats up with that? Why just last year, he was declaring that we were destroying this planet and driving temperatures up, but now he is gone. I was watching a program last night about the dust bowl in Kansas and the plains areas. Boy oh boy, lucky Al Gore wasnt around then. He would have had a field day.

          • Joe H. says:

            Berberoni,
there wasn’t a reply bar on your post so I had to use Dave’s. Al Bore had a talk last week and there were more protesters on the outside than listeners on the inside!! he’s losing a lot of his mindless followers!!!!

        • Richard Pawley says:

Beberoni, when you say below than THERE IS NOTHING TO DO that isn’t quite true. The New Testament says to “pray always” in other words, live your life so that as a Christian you reflect Jesus in such a way that people will be attracted to Him because of His presence in you. Be a living prayer. That doesn’t happen automatically. You have to pray and draw close to Jesus for this to be so. If you look at the teachings of Jesus and read just the gospels and the book of ACTS you will see that there is a lot of good that we can do and will do if we are followers of Jesus. It is true we don’t have to do things as the cults insist but your reward in heaven will be determined by what you did here. That doesn’t determine your going there, only your reward. I think that may be why there are three heavens. Paul mentions that he was taken up to the third heaven where he saw God and ended up blind until a Christian healed him. The point is that if he was taken up into the third heaven there must be a first and a second. I don’t disagree with you entirely because salvation does not depend on anything you do (except ask Jesus to come into your life and forgive your sins) but there will be a change in you when you do that which will be noticed by others – and I don’t mean by becoming a religious fanatic). You will become more loving, more accepting, more inclined to pray for people, and to care for them. However, your REWARD in Heaven will depend on what you did here and as it says in the New Testament, faith without good works is dead (or non-existent). Someone else below asked about passing judgement and I think she means about calling a spade a spade and not calling evil good. Jesus himself said to look at what a person does not by what they proclaim or say, “By their fruits you will know them!” So in one sense we are always judging but we should never condemn another because we don’t know where they are in their spiritual journey. “Let your light shine” In the classic Christian paperback GOD CALLING Jesus told a woman in England some 75 years ago that just loving others will help them. Sometime people can’t stomach words or “church” because of what has been done to them but just loving them will benefit them and you too!

    • Robert says:

A military coupe might work. It seemed to have worked somewhat in other countries. Couldn’t hurt to try. What do we have to loose? We’re already seeing the start of our ultimate and total slavery to the Washington crowd and their elitist.

      • DaveH says:

It’s doubtful. Even after the trauma of breaking away from England with the American Revolution, many people wanted to make George Washington a King. We were lucky then that he didn’t want any part of it.

      • JeffH says:

Every day there is more and more criticism by the Dems about the direction Obummer is taking this country. Even a few of the MSM types are starting to question some of his moves, or lack of leadership. Why did Lou Dobbs leave CNN so suddenly?

        • Beberoni says:

They realize that America is sick of what they are doing, and now comes the time when all these cowards on the left, that have as a group, led Obama to do the things he has does, as their “figurehead”, and as they all blow up in their face, they now back away like they are all innocent, and are in the process of throwing him under the bus, just like I said 6 months ago. Its coming, and I still say that in the election of 2012, the democrats will run Hillary and force him to resign. Of course though, they may be afraid to alienate themselves from getting the black vote which they have somehow manipulated for years, when they have done nothing for them at all.

          • JeffH says:

The real bottom line will be that if Obama is successful in his quest to change America forever, and I believe in America enough that he won’t be, Soros will still toss his money behind like minded thinkers. If Obama doesn’t stand a chance for a second term, Soros will toss him out and possibly back Hillary again. Can one imagine a H.Clinton vs. S.Palin battle of he sexes?

          • American Citizen says:

Martin Luther King’s niece is telling the blacks that they should be voting Republican. She is telling them that the Democrats are keeping them down. We need people of her stature telling them to take control of their own lives and not want to be slaves to the government. Their so-called leaders, Sharpton, Jackson and Farakhan are leading them down the wrong path.

        • Jana says:

Oh I hope that is true, but I suspect Obama will run again. It will be up to us to stand against him.
Unfortunately in the past the people have short memories and have never held up their threats of not voting for the same people again, and they are banking their careers that this will happen again.
I pray that we have finally awakened and will have this same ferver that we have now come election time. It will be up to us to spread the word that’s for sure.

        • American Citizen says:

What’s so different about that? Don’t we have a king, oops, president acting like one now?

      • CindyL says:

If you want to see elitists, study the messages of Ayn Rand. All Libertarians are elitists. She promotes ethical egoism, which is the position that people should do what is in their own self interest. Regardless of the effects it produces for others. Ethical egoism is the philosophical basis for the Libertarian concepts. Thomas Jefferson believed that ethical egoism was the basis for immorality. Ethical egoism is at odds with the majority of religions as it is a lack of spirituality and shows total submersion in GREED. A majority of Libertarians are atheist, who don’t believe in helping their fellow man in any way for any reason. That is why the idea of anarchy doesn’t bother them in the least. Bryan Caplan states that “In a modern democracy, not only can a Libertarian be elitist, a Libertarian has to be elitist.” Many are saying that the Democrats are like sheep, maybe you should look at who is trying to lead the right wingers down a bloody path that American might not survive. American fighting American who would have thought such a thing possible. When did violence become the answer?

  5. Russell EnDean says:

Yes Robert, Obama is the Anti-Christ and a whole lot more. We cannot wait another three years, because using the past 9 months, and arithmetic as my guide, the system is going to melt down before three more years pass. This excludes variables such as international matters. So we do not have the luxury of waiting for the trem to expire.

    • coal miner says:

      Russell,

What do you suggest, arm revolt? That how dictatorships gets estasbished. If you don’t like the guy, vote him out.Russell, you could be monitored. There is a thin line in freedom of speech and yelling fire in a crowded theater.

      • DaveH says:

        Miner,
I believe you’re right about revolutions leading to dictatorship. But I don’t see any exceptions in our freedom of speech in the First Amendment. Any exceptions have been implemented unconstitutionally. Please respect Russell’s freedom of speech as I respect yours.

        • coal miner says:

          Dave,

“That we can’t wait another three years,” that what worries me.I am not against freedom of speech,as long it don’t egg people on to violence.A famous Justice said what I quoted.I do respect his right to free speech.

          • Beberoni says:

His own party will dump him and distance themselves from him before these 3 years are up. Watch and see.

          • Stacy says:

            Beberoni,

Wouldn’t the world be a rosier place if you are correct? In the meantime, let’s shut him down in 2010. Take away his playmates and his ability to do any more damage.

          • Jana says:

Coal, I agree, we can’t wait three more years, that’s why we vote out every one of the legislators that are coming up and put new people in. We write letters, we call our reps. and we make a lot of noise so they will hear us in Washington DC

          • Jessica says:

Sometimes I think the Warrior Class in this country, the soldiers from long warrior bloodlines (and there are a lot of them), are just itching to start a good old-fashioned revolution. To them I say slow down, think about it. Who could organize such a thing? How could you safegaurd your battle plans in this age of instant information? Armed resistance against the Federal Govornment is a far cry from blowing up your dad’s toolshed with match bombs when you were a teenager, and getting your butt whupped for it.

          • CindyL says:

Frank Schaefer, the son of the man who started the Conservative movement, stated on cable tonight, that the religious leaders in this country should be standing up to talk like that from many on this site. He can’t believe that we are letting the fringe in this country promote a civil war. He stated that he believes that we will have an assassination by the radical righties, and he doesn’t understand how Christians can be so far off from the Christian dogma. That they are no longer Christians or they wouldn’t be acting the way they are. They are hiding behind the guise of being Christian.

          • Jana says:

Woa Jessica and Cindy. you are the ones promoting civil war.
I think we need to turn you in to Obama.
Please girls, put your guns away. Please do not preach and yell the awful things you do that would cause anarchy and hatred in this country. You two are extremely dangerous people.
This country needs protection from people like you.

    • denniso says:

Russell..Do you really believe that stuff?? anti christ? You know I still remember people like you at the time calling Reagan and Bush 1, both the so called anti christ. What a bunch of nonsense..sure, you have a right to spout your silly ‘religious’ beliefs. I also have a right to call your comment absurd and totally unproductive.

      • DaveH says:

Unlike your constant personal attacks and Double-Speak.

        • Robert says:

I thought Denniso disappeared. Wishful thinking I guess. Anyway, I find his liberal views entertaining. When the Washington crowd gets around to stripping every American of their freedoms and money and start dictating what we can and cannot do, I’ll be interested in what Denniso has to say. Unless he’s a plant and just taking names so they know who to arrest first.

          • El Chichon' says:

            Robert,
How do you know if you can trust Bob Livingston at Liberty Alert? This may and very well could be an Obama website to capture all those who go against him. At any rate, if it is, I guess the cats out of the bag now!!! You never know who you can trust. You may have freedom of speech, but there can also be repercussions for what a person says too. They may hold you accountable some how. We all have to be careful now days. Trust no one. Re-elect no one. When we do vote, I strongly suggest voting for the far right wing extremist conservatives no matter what party they are affiliated with as long as they are staunch conservatives. This is the only way to stop OsamaBama and this mess in its tracks and start working on ways to reverse everything these maniacs have done to our nation.

          • DaveH says:

            El,
The far right has encouraged government growth also, albeit not as much as the left. We need to get people in there who understand the individual freedom and Limited Government that our founders worked to establish.

          • libertytrain says:

El Chicon – funny thought – however, since Bob Livingston has been publishing his letter for decades, I think we are all safe.

          • CindyL says:

You are so safe, that the FBI has reported a 400% increase in domestic threats of violence from radical groups. Go on and feel safe. You think you will be safe when the shooting starts? What do you think will help you? You gonna wear a T shirt stating I hate Obama and no one will kill you? Dude, nobody with a gun or without will be safe, don’t you get it? It won’t matter how macho you are, there will be posiers and you will be killed. You won’t be able to tell us apart. Americans all don’t have blond hair, slanted eyes, one color of skin, we are all different and you won’t be able to tell who the enemy is. Do you think the Liberals will have a shirt on saying I am a Liberal, kill me now? How will you be able to decide who to shoot?

        • Joe H. says:

          denniso,
yup I remember those chants also. I’m a bit surprised you would mention them though as they were being shouted by the DEMOCRATS!!!!

      • usmadgirl says:

        Denniso,

As a Christian, I have to pray for your soul, & also pray that God will forgive me for calling you an idiot! I really can’t blame you as a Liberal! If I could, I would like to live in the same fantasy world that I did when I was five years old, too! That’s the problem with Liberals, they’ve never grown up! They still think they can have anything they want for nothing! That’s just like a little kid who asks for a toy & their parents say they don’t have the money to buy it & the kid says “but you have a check book”!

It’s too bad that we can’t all live in the fantasy world that you’ve created for yourself, where there is no “good” or “evil”, but unfortunately, we have to live in the REAL WORLD!

Why do you even waste our time on this site? Most of us are here to try to resolve the problems that you & all your Marxist administration have created! We choose to unite for the good of the people. If you want to live in a Socialist/Communist/Marxist country, why don’t you go to North Korea, Cuba or Venezuela and leave us alone? You don’t deserve to live in this country!

        • Grant S. says:

          Dear usmadgirl:

As an agnostic, I have to pray for your mental capacity. But I won’t go as far to call you an idiot, because I think it’s poor form, and a cheap shot. (and totally off base, incidentally) You have let a frantic, overly-dramatic, totally entertainment-based, profit-driven information delivery environment lead you to believe that you can neatly box up all liberals into some sheeple/idiot category, overlooking the long, rich history of liberal/progressive achievements which have contributed immensely (along with conservative achievements) to this country.

Your reference to the “REAL WORLD” is what strikes a chord in me. For, in fact, it’s the “real worlders” who seem to grasp the fact that in this real world, sometimes certain political parties win. When this happens, it’s not the end of the world or the start of some biblical armageddon; it’s just a different administration. Deal with it. It’ll probably change hands in 3 years anyway. If you really want change, start rallying all of your friends to learn about instant run-off voting and question why we don’t have it in this country. The petty infighting will get us nowhere, and only serves to keep entrenched, useless politicians in office, while we get purposely distracted into bickering about gay marriage, abortion, and BIBLICAL PROPHECY!!!! ..as if these things have any relevance to the bigger picture.

I’m a “liberal”…the kind that will make no sense to you, because it won’t fit into the convenient framing you’ve accepted as part of the narrow, highly-edited-for-entertainment-value version of reality you’ve been fed. I’m definitely grown up; I don’t believe in fantasies (like the bible), but I do believe that the world can be a better place. I do believe that our country has the potential to once again become a beacon of freedom, creativity, and leadership for the world–but I don’t believe that the way to go about it involves wreaking havoc on a nation half around the planet that at least 85% of Americans can’t identify on a map. And I don’t believe the way to go about involves arbitrarily distilling reality down to “good” vs. “evil”, since, contrary to your assertion, THIS is what five year olds do.

Please don’t try to suggest that I’m dumb or an idiot. It only serves to degrade the debate. The “why don’t you go elsewhere comments”…uh-uh…we’re not going anywhere. We had to put up with 8 yrs. of catastrophic failure. Throw us a bone. This supposed “socialist” Obama is anything but. You have no idea what actual, liberal socialism looks like–not even the faintest clue. Our country isn’t even left of center…it’s smack in the center and leaning right. So you really have nothing to fear.

          Welcome to the real world!

          • Joe H. says:

            Hey Grant,
good for you!!! Don’t even give a thought to the fact that O-man has put us so far in debt that your grand children will still be paying for it. Don’t even give a moments hesitation to the fact that we have been lied to by him left and right. The health care plan will be budget neutral? In what dream. I know, he’s going to donate all his money from the nobel right? Oh wait, that won’t do it either. La La land that’s what he believes in and it doesn’t exist!!!

          • Beberoni says:

You make some good points sir, but truly, it does boil down in life, to a battle between good and evil. If you live in that gray area where “everything is cool”. You know, “to each his own”. Or, “Whatever makes you feel good”. Well, if you live there, your not standing for anything. One cannot go through life straddling the fence. Its either one side or the other. I walked for 40 years on one side, and for the last 11 on the other. So in knowing that, accept that I have the experience of living on both planes, and that I fully recognize good from evil and vice versa. And being a believer, I have to believe what the Bible says, that “Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against evil forces”. Its pretty simple, and if you know Jesus, you fully know and recognize this. However, dont insult and attack me for my beliefs, as I fully support your right to not believe. I know, I used to be you.

            Grant S,

I agree with you. Some of these people say vote my way or the high way.I am also agnostic. Most of these arguments you stated,I do believe in.Do you believe in the right to bear arms?I do.Every president that was elected, they said the end of time is near, almost all of them, were call the Anti-Christ.

          • Joe H. says:

            Grant,
one other thing, Why would an agnostic PRAY?

          • DaveH says:

By “rich history of liberal/progressive achievements”, do you mean the achievement of stealing an ever-increasing portion of peoples’ hard-earned money to pay for your Liberal fantasies and impoverish our country?

          • Jana says:

Grant, as an agnostic who are you gonna pray to?? Obama??
Unfortunately being a liberal used to mean something really good, but you sweet little inno9cent darlings have turned it into/let it evolve into something truly bad, and even harmful to our country. Liberalism no longer even resembles its meaning any more.

You say “The petty infighting will get us nowhere, and only serves to keep entrenched, useless politicians in office, while we get purposely distracted into bickering about gay marriage, abortion, and BIBLICAL PROPHECY!!!! ..as if these things have any relevance to the bigger picture.”
Well Mr., it means something to us who do have morals and standards that we live by. As you say in your own words, “Deal with it.”

We all realize that sometimes certain political parties win. But when we see someone come in and try to change our country into something that we cannot recognize, and we see our freedoms being taken away from us, we become alarmed. You are the one who uses the term Biblical Armageddon, but that is not even what we said. You have no understanding of Biblical prophecy therefore you misuse your terms.
You do give some good advice about learning about instant run-off voting.
Why don’t you enlighten us a little more on the subject?

You say we have no idea what liberal socialism looks like, and that we have nothing to fear. You have had your eyes closed to the truth for so long that you can’t see what is happening around you. We know full well what it looks like and we are fighting to keep it from coming here.

My husband was working in South America during the Falkland Islands war and with the propaganda that they spread he actually thought that England had lost that war. When he came home he said he couldn’t fathom England losing, but everyone down there believed it.

I don’t have to go to Paris France to know there is a Paris France. So we don’t have to let Socialism be the rule for our country to know what it is.

        • CindyL says:

          • American Citizen says:

In reality, the revolution is going to take place in the voting booths. Some are just blowing off steam here. Armed revolution is not the American way. Next year will come the revolution on election day.

          • Jana says:

American Citizen, I think Cindy is a plant to see if she or he can antagonize everyone. She is a liar, and a manipulator of words, therefore she cannot be trusted in any sense of the word. She can read but she distorts the truth like a normal Radical leftist does, and her only purpose is to cause trouble, so she is a troublemaker too.

    • denniso says:

DAllen… have you heard of the Geneva accord? We’re supposed to be bound by that for treatment of prisoners during war. Have you heard of the world court? we belong to that as well. How about trade agreements that have international rules? We don’t live on this earth in a vacuum like some of you may like.

      • DaveH says:

I agree Denniso, the vacuum exists only between your ears.

      • Beberoni says:

If I ran things, we wouldnt belong to no world court, we would be the world court, I mean, since we have to pay for everything, why shouldnt we. I wouldnt belong to the United Nations. I would kick these leeches out of our country immediately, and bill them for our services in doing it. We waste billions of dollars on this, for what? To have third world heathens tell us what to do. No way. Id remove us immediately. Id close our bases in France and Germany, since they thought of themselves as being too good to help us after we got bombed on 9-11. Id remove aid from these nations unfriendly to us, Russia, Lebanon, Syria, and many more. What the hell are we doing giving money to these guys anyhow? Its stinking nuts. You can sit down and talk with them all you want, because thats what the liberals do, and thats why we have these crummy relationships with these countries. We need to slap them in the face, and make them shape up and ship out, and earn a little respect. You dont get that by giving them handouts. Cryin out loud. Look at all the losers in this country, that are living on handouts. Do you think they respect the government for it? Heck no, they laugh about it and find it humorous. Makes them want more handouts is what it does. Close the spicket, shut it down, and start dealing with these guys like a man, not liked a scared little boy.

If anyone reads the Bible & believes it-then this “one world gov’t” attempt is not suprising. I’m sure it will happen as the Bible states & then inevitably a one world religon. It’s a scary thought, but if you’re a Christian you have to stick to your beliefs & fight until the end. Scary times ahead folks…be prepared…

    • Donald says:

      KC,
Even though we Chriswtians believe there will be an attempt to make a one world Agovernment, that doesn’t mean we should sit by idly and watch it happen. It means we need to stand up for righteousness sake and try to sto it, as we will all be held accoutnable for our actions, or non-actions.

    • Charlie says:

      AMEN! that’s right!
We are indeed living in perilous times…and Christ return is almost by the door.
Let’s get ready each day…for our redemption draweth nigh>

      • Beberoni says:

Thats right, He is coming. But were not supposed to crawl up into the fetal position like the liberals and wait for Him to do the work for us. We need to get our hands and feet dirty, and get out of our comfort zone, and do what it takes to help others get their also. Our faith is no good if we keep it to ourselves. And it is dead without works, just as our good works are dead without faith. We must combine the two, and put our faith into action, and fight for the right things, whether we get it or not. I get laughed at by some, but thats cool. I expect that. Its written that way, and Ive been for-warned about that. The Cross is foolishness to those that are perishing, but to us who are saved, it is life. Our eyes and ears have been opened and we know. But its no good for us to know and just hide in a ball and keep it to ourselves. Be bold for the gospels sake, as it is written, and spread the word. Jesus Christ came for one purpose, to serve man. And He laid down his life for us, and took the nails for us and hung on that cross for us. This is the most painful, cruel, and longest death style there is. Yet He knew it ahead of time, and still did it for us. But wait, 3 days later He rose again, as He said He would. And He lives inside of me and all you who believe, and He will come again. Maybe tomorrow, might be next week, next month, next year, 10 years, maybe 100 years. Doesnt matter. He is coming, and all will bow before Him and give an account of themselves. So do others right, and when someone does you wrong, dont seek revenge. It will be meeted out to them. In the end, all wrongs will be made right. But I have to agree wholly with you Charlie, He is coming again. Praise be to Jesus Christ, who took the nails so that I didnt have to.

        • American Citizen says:

You’re right Bebe, no one knows when the end of this world will be, even Jesus didn’t know. He said only the Father knows. So we need to live each day as if it’s the last.

        Denniso,
Do you truly believe the goofy words that you type? Nothing makes me angrier than you & your Marxist president & all the other Liberals blaming “Our Party” & Bush for spending! Yeah, I’m PO’d at his bailing out AIG, but if you listened to his speech last week, you’d know that he did it against his “better capitalist judgment”. None of the economic crash started until the Dumbocrats took over the House & Senate in 2006 & your Liberal freak, Barney Frank, whose only real job was to regulate FNMA & FHLMC, told the world that FNMA & FHLMC were in great shape!

How can you rationally blame “Our Party” & Bush for “spending” when he had 9/11 right off the bat, then Katrina (that the brilliant Mayor of New Orleans & Governor of Louisiana couldn’t deal with) & was paying for 2 wars in order to protect us from crazy, evil TERRORISTS (that have only one goal & that’s to KILL US) & still didn’t make a small dent in what your America hating, bowing, Mao Tse Tung loving president had spent in his first six months? Within six months, Obama had already spent as much as all the presidents from George Washington to George W. Bush COMBINED!

And I guess you think (in your childlike mind) that YOU aren’t going to have to pay for the One World Government’s “Climate Change” LIE just because you’re a Liberal. If you think they’re not going to tax your Liberal butt, to pay for a complete fabrication in the mind of Al Gore (a lying disgrace to mankind) so he can get even wealthier, then I have a nice bridge in Alaska that I’ll sell you! If you’re not affiliated with ACORN or SEIU, then you’re gonna be living in poverty just like the rest of us who are going to have to “share the wealth” with every freeloader in the world!

We’ve belonged to the U.N. for 50 yrs and most of the people ranting now were saying the same thing about the U.N. controlling us..the evil U.N. has almost no power to do anything…this one world gov’t thing is a complete fabrication and you are being used as a pawn in the game.

          • DaveH says:

Oh come on Jbird. Let’s not get all focused on the PC stuff. I resent that so many of our words have been corrupted and considered off-limits now. Like queer, which used to mean strange or odd (and still does). Or gay, which used to mean happy (and still does).
We know what David meant. Leave the PC stuff to the Liberals.

      • American Citizen says:

That’s so true, Sharon, that’s how Obama got elected. They did man on the street interviews and most could not tell them anything about Obama, even though they voted for him. They voted for him because of the color of his skin. If that’s not being racist, I don’t know what is. I didn’t vote for him because of the color of his skin, I didn’t vote for him because of who his friends were (says a lot about character) and the words he spoke, “We will fundamentally change this country.” Chilling words. That’s why he seems to not value the Constitution.

        • American Citizen says:

I may be wrong, but I thought I heard that McCain isn’t going to run again. He needs to retire and enjoy the years he has left with his family. Just as there is an age restriction to how old you have to be in order to run for the Congressional seats, I think there should be a mandatory retirement age for them. Those of us who are older know the limits we have as to energy, etc. I’m not saying he’s lost any of his intelligence, but he’s also done some voting that as a conservative, I don’t agree with.

    • Stacy says:

      DaveH,
I am from Arizona as well. John mcCain will never again get my vote. He has been selling all Arizonans down the river for years because most Republicans didn’t understand he was just playing the “I’m a Republican so I’ve got your butt covered” game. His positions on global warming mythology, the NorthAmerican Union and illegal immigration are totally liberal and absolutely not representative of what most Arizonans believe. His BS illegal amnesty debaucle a few years ago is case in point. One would think he had figured out that he was not on the right track when we threatened to hand him his ass over that mess. Unfortunately, he is choosing to run again and I’m not certain that the conservatives here have anyone to take him in the primaries. I have been listening for the war drums but haven’t heard anything yet. Have you? I will be contacting him this week and expressing my feelings about what will most likely go down here if he votes for any of this liberal drivel. Many Arizonans just won’t vote for him. It is quite possible we could experience a mini-2008 here in that there could be enough defectors to other candidates that he wouldn’t get voted in and a liberal could take his seat. There would be another fine kettle of fish…throw one liberal out only to put another one in. There is no longer the option to default to any candidate just because of the initial behind his name. At the risk of sounding crude my sons say there should be a new set of initials as an alternative to D and R…AC as in assclown. Seems to me that these RINOs as they are called should perhaps have this designation and their party flag could be one of any from Cuba, Russia or North Korea. As for this giveaway of American sovreignty? I think the problem we have is that most of us do not have enough knowledge about the legal system or constitutional authority to know how to stop these jokers now. If the guy who spoke of the Grand Jury knows exactly how the citizenry can do this then I hope he speaks up. Otherwise, it is sad to think that the lawyers that could enlighten us simply won’t because of their quest for power and wealth at the expense of everyone else…I’ve never met a lawyer I thought any good. If our only weapon is the vote then we better pray that we can do some intense damage to the controlling party in 2010. These are dark and pretty terrifying times and I know people who are very logical and stable people who would normally poo-poo alarmist ideas about foreign militaries raiding our country with the blessing of our own government and massive food shortages beginning to prepare themselves for the worst as they best can. I don’t know that any of the things people are talking about happening will actually happen but our family is moving in the direction of preparing for whatever may come as we best can. If we fail to change things in 2010 then I believe all is lost. Our country can not continue to take this continual assault from within and without (especially when those who wish to destroy us are being aided and abetted by those from within and that includes Geo. W when he was in office although he didn’t aid the enemies of America per se he did diminish our individual freedoms and assault the Constitution in the aftermath of 9/11) and not be destroyed. I believe that the liberals know this and that could explain why they are trying to ram so much down our throats without our consent…do as much damage as they can while they have power. Even if they lose control in 2010 what kind of damage will they have done to our Constitution and associated documents in the meantime? I don’t believe this mess is a party problem I believe it to be a government power and greed problem. Ronald Reagan got it right…government is not the solution to the problem. Government IS the problem. personally, I have been reading the Constitution, associated documents and letters written by our Founding fathers and they spoke of freedom and liberty as something we would have to defend. One of them wrote that the people would likely become so distracted by living their lives and chasing their dreams that the government would then grow out of control and well, what has happened is what they said would happen. Liberty is a grand thing if you can hang onto it. The problem as the writer saw it was that people would get apathetic and complacent. They also warned that once liberty is lost it can not be regained. More than one of the founders alluded to that. Not sure that I agree but in this current world perhaps it is possible and perhaps more now than when the founders wrote of it so long ago.

      • DaveH says:

        Stacy,
It sounds to me like you would agree with Libertarian principles:
        http://libertarianparty.org/platform

If you do, but you think you would be throwing away your vote, then at least register to help us build the numbers needed for recognition, and then vote for the lesser of two evils (which is still just evil).

I don’t think your fear of foreign military involvement in the US is unfounded. I have heard of very few countries that have fallen from unsolicited outside attack. The foreign attackers are almost always invited in by officials of the victim country. I could see that happening here. People need to wake up and realize just how vulnerable we have become. There are so many people now that feed at the government trough. And their votes are usually locked in for Big Government, so the rest of us are going to have to work really hard if we want to change things.

        • Stacy says:

          Dave,
I don’t think I fit the Libertarian mold enough to define myself that way. I am a conservative but no longer associate myself with the Repubs…well, at least not most of them. I don’t believe government is in and of itself a bad thing really. I believe government left unfettered by a healthy fear of the people is a deadly thing. I believe we need to make some fundamental changes to the system. You seem to be pretty aware so you won’t be surprised that I am for term-limits on Congress and taking the gold-plated retirement and healthcare away from House and Senate members. Other things need to be changed but you get the drift so I won’t belabor the point. The time for partisan anything is way past.

I had posted on another topic not too long ago and some liberals were insulting and calling names…not just me but most everyone. I figured I had wasted my time because they weren’t interested in legitimate discussion just disruption (Obama’s tactics on par). I find that it is those who wish to control others that try to marginalize them by calling them crazies or paranoids or…tea baggers. It is one of the lowest forms of manipulation. Quite frankly, I find that those who do these kinds of things seem to be rather undeveloped intellectually and emotionally. In the end not much of a challenge and really only challenge one’s patience. The attempts by the current administration to form tattle-tale brigades on the internet is just one sign that this is business as usual with a new and sinister twist. I read that there were already foreign military here on US soil. Truth or fiction? Don’t know but I am taking my cues from what I see Washington doing and I believe it isn’t good. I’m pretty certain that Toto and I aren’t in Kansas anymore, and definitely am not trusting enough that I won’t look behind the curtain in the corner. The doody is blowing in and it’s going to get deep. Time to find those shovels. If the smell of it coming isn’t enough to wake us up then I guess those left sleeping will be buried and suffocate under it. Time we called these party hacks like McCain what they are…sh*t peddlers. We have behaved like delusional morons because we didn’t recognize that both parties are doping their own with these delusions that they politicians are actually working for us and for the common good. We have believed the lies for so long that if we don’t wake up and get some huevos to stand up and confront them in a serious way then they have already dismantled our way of life and our freedom. What’s left?

          • DaveH says:

            Stacy,
Please look into the Libertarian Party platform. I know some of their freedoms sound scary. But I could explain to you why they would work.
For instance on the drug issue: Sure, it conjures visions of everyone becoming an addict, but alcohol is legal and we aren’t all alcoholics. I am a health-food nut myself. Anyway you can see that the drug laws don’t work. The drug wars are not only expensive but they have caused the costs of the drugs to skyrocket, thus enriching the evil element of society (the drug lords). And money is power. Most drug-related crimes are a result of the high costs. Also, the Government has used the Drug Wars as an excuse to trample some of our Constitutional freedoms, and many innocent people have lost their lives to drug lords or drug cops. The Mafia got their start during the Prohibition Era. We are just repeating history with drugs replacing alcohol.
Under a Libertarian system, there would be no forced support (from the taxpayers) for those who screwed up. So the drug users would have to pay for their own mistakes. They wouldn’t be able to party till they drop and then ride on somebody else’s involuntary contributions (through Government) like they do now.

          • Stacy says:

            DaveH,

No reply botton on your reply to our earlier discussion on the Libertarian party. I totally understand what you are saying and I will take a look at the positions held by Libertarianists more closely. There is a certain logic to some of what I have read. I guess I get caught between the practical side and the principle of the thing (whatever the thing is that is being discussed). Sometimes the practical and the principle are mutually exclusive. How to reconcile? I’m not certain they can be reconciled. Also, you are correct but then not. I am not foolish enough to “throw away” my vote. However, I will no longer be deceived into believing that I must vote for the lesser of two evils because corruption and greed are an implied necessary evil and are just part and parcel of the process. Should I vote for McCain just because he is the lesser of two evils or only because he has the R behind his name? I think not nor do I believe that you think that way. I’m interested to know how you reconcile that dilemma in your own thinking. I believe our attention has to be directed to the process entirely and long before the primaries when we have some choice over the “evils” we ultimately send to DC. I am amazed that so few actually pay attention to the primary season. I want to see principled and integral people in the running for office…not those who just say they are. I have yet to see change I can believe in but I have seen lots of change I just can not believe.

          • Joe H. says:

            Dave,
I understand your wanting to push the libertarians and that is your right and I respect that. the only thing I’m worried about is what has happened in the past and will happen in 2012. If the libertarians have no chance of winning and I honestly don’t(don’t take offense) then splitting the voters up will just be the same as voting for O-man. By default, when a person has no chance to win but still runs, they only split the vote and assure another the win.

          • DaveH says:

            Joe and Stacy,
What has voting for the lesser of two evils gotten us? Just an ever-increasing Government. If we got enough people behind the Libertarian principles then more people would become aware and the party would grow. Even now, for instance, Foxnews has two or three Libertarian commenters – John Stossel, Glenn Beck, and Judge Napolitano. The events of the last decade have convinced many people that the Government is too large, too expensive, and too intrusive.
In the past the Libertarians haven’t gotten much exposure because the entrenched politicians don’t want Limited Government, and the entrenched businessmen don’t want the kind of competition that free market policies would bring. Guess who controls the MSM?
But now thanks to Foxnews and the Internet, people can finally be exposed to the principles of Libertarianism. I don’t want to split the vote. I want to take the vote. But that takes some party building.

      • Beberoni says:

And also from what I heard on a TV report, where a guy has a problem with illegals coming across his property, killing his livestock and eating them, and trashing his property and making fires and stuff, and when he got no relief locally, he wrote often to McCains office, and he was afraid to get involved also. I dont get it. If one of these guys with any kind of power stood up and said they will be shot on site, or captured and returned immediately, and did it, well that person would get everyones vote. The few illegal alien votes these wankers strive for doesnt amount to a hill of beans.

This is only the beginning. Wal-Mart has already launched a campaign “Project Impact” to put as many other stores out of business as they can. They are not happy with being the biggest they want to be the only! I am sure as soon as they do they will start giving out the mark of the beast!

Right on, Chris……….i NEVER liked it that Walmart WAS trying to take over everywhere/everyone. The same with McDonalds, too.

I will not patronize them AGAIN!! I like many other places/shops/stores and am satisfied there.

      • Jessica says:

Wal-Mart as The Beast? Now that’s a stretch. Wal-Mart is putting smaller companies out of business because they make good products at good prices. You can find a doorknob at the local hardware store for 29.99. You can find the same doorknob at Wal-Mart for 12.99. It’s called competition and free-market capitalism. It’s not some insidious, satanic plot. Just good, common-sense marketing.

        • Joe H. says:

          Jessica,
and I can go to Home Depot or Lowes and get it for a few cents cheaper!!! Wal Mart has some questionable labor practices. I say that and I have become anti union so don’t start on that. I’m talking where people get hurt on the job and Wal Mart will draw the case out as long as possible till the person gives up hope. I have a friend who worked for them and got hurt getting a bike down from the top rack. When he asked for help they told him to just get it down. he asked for one of those platform ladders they use and his supervisor said you don’t need one just climb!!! he finally did and over balanced and fell directly flat on his back on a concrete floor from about 6 to 8 feet!!! the3y have fought him on the claim and if his wife didn’t have a job they would be bankrupt now!!!

          • DaveH says:

I’m sorry for your friend’s injury Joe, but he should have just refused to risk his body like that. I have been laid off in the past for not putting up with disrespectful treatment. Oh well, there are other jobs.

          • coal miner says:

            JoeH,

The reason your friend got hurt,it was because there was no union there.I wouldn’t dream of working in a non-union mines.I did once and saw a fellow miner cripple for life. This mining company was violating every rule in the book.If a mining foreman tells one of his workers in a unionised mines do some dangerous stunt,he would not only be fired,he would lose his first class papers. He could never be a foreman.John L. Lewis was a conservative and he said govenment shouldn’t intefere in laber and management. He didn’t endorse Roosevelt a liberal.Finding jobs ,not that easy. You can lose everything you got.Dave, you are well educated, finding jobs would be no problem, but what about the rest of us?We got kids.

With all that Obama is doing to destroy America..it is even more important that he have to prove his eligibility by submitting his legal long form birth certificate. According to http://www.wnd.com there is a court date in Jan. to force him to do so. If then, he is proven to be ineligible everything he has done and signed will be void….Perhaps it isn’t too late to stop the destruction of America. Keep praying, we have a God who hears and understands, and can fix America.

    • Stacy says:

Thanks for the link. I’ll be looking at this as well as I have been wondering what became of this issue. Can’t believe he was even allowed on the ballot without having submitted his birth certificate.

    • dagger says:

I really hate to say this; but, regarding that January court date…consider this: Who’s court is it anyway? Theirs.

The odds of his records seeing the light of day may very well share the same odds of a snowball surviving the fires of hell.

      • Stacy says:

You may be correct. I appreciate your wonderful wit even if I hope you are incorrect about the outcome. :)

      • JeffH says:

I hate to be the one to tell you, but there won’t be a court date in January, 2010. The judge tossed out the complaint, chastized and fined the attorney.
U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land has thrown out a complaint questioning the president’s birth from an Army captain fighting deployment to Iraq and gave a warning to her lawyer, birther maven Orly Taitz.

Land also put attorney Orly Taitz, who represents Capt. Connie Rhodes and is a leader in the national “birther” movement, on notice by stating that she could face sanctions if she ever files a similar “frivolous” lawsuit in his court.

  12. SF Medic 713 says:

The question for me is this: If President Obama were out to bring down the United States, what would he be doing differently than he’s doing now? Our way of life is being undermined and we’re dying the death of a thousand wounds. His practices aren’t chipping away at our culture, they’re wholesale destroying them. One good thing about his policies is that conservatism is on the ascendancy once again. We can’t take three more years of this destruction. Sign petitions. Support conservative candidates. We stopped the new license plate tax here in NY by using petitions to force our legislators to hear us. Let’s continue to be the shining example of what’s possible, and not what once was opportunity for all.

    • Joe H. says:

If ever people needed to be contacting their Senators it is NOW. It is critical that ALL AMERICANS stand up and be counted if we want this Country to survive the Obama administration and the liberal democratic destruction of what this great Country was founded on. People need to be relentless….as relentless as Obama has been to create this new world order. I don’t believe there has ever been such a massive attack on our liberties and freedoms as in the last ten months. America wake up!!!!! It is going to take all of us not just some of us. Just look at how they are trying to dismiss the Tea Party movement. They have ignored the march on Washington on 9/12. They are saying we are anti-government, when we are just trying to protect this Country and the principals it was founded on. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are all anti-American and people need to wake up fast!!!! They are out for their own personal and selfish gain at our expense. Obama has insulted our military and all of us as Americans by apologizing for us to countries who only want to see our destruction.

  15. Sam says:

While you say this would be an unconstitutional ceding of sovereignty, that’s unfortunately not correct. Treaties when properly ratified have the force of law, under our Constitution, and thereby become Constitutional cedings of sovereignty.
In similar fashion, every US Supreme Court ruling modifies the Constitution. The Supreme Court has done a fine job over the years of redefining interstate commerce, for example, to mean all commerce, ala federal jurisdiction over marijuana in states that allow it.
This kind of chicanery needs to be stopped in Congress, and it needs to be stopped now. But with 9 out of 10 Americans sound asleep, it won’t.

    • DaveH says:

Thanks Sam. We need to be a lot more vigilant about who gets appointed to the Supreme Court, or even the lower courts. We need to write our representatives and let them know that we will not accept Judicial Activists.

    • Joe H. says:

      Sam,
You may be right on most of the practices, but I believe that there is a part of the constitution that expressly forbids our troops being placed under the command of foreign commanders. Thus they shouldn’t be under U.N. control at ANY time!!! I believe there are some other exceptions to what you say as well.

When Barack Obama was elected President, we knew it meant a major change in America. But we never thought the change was going to result in the most polarized, hate-filled political environment since the days of JFK almost 50 years ago.
Our answer, never elect a Republican

People like Ronald are sleeping silver spoon-fed, TV-programmed, true believing sheep who won’t realize their mistakes until the rude awakening when they’ll have realized they’ve been ignorant fool supporters of the destruction of their lives and of our country – a free America. Our choices are being systematically removed day by day while ignorant products of the public school system like the sleeping-sheep-Ronald continue to doze. Their arrogant level of spiritual and social awareness serves the government violates unalienable rights guaranteed by our Constitution and will ultimately enslave us all. A time of reckoning for troglodyte ideologues like this is hastened by their continued ignorance of fundamental liberties. Unfortunately for all of us, it will come a day late and impossible trillions of non-existent Federal Reserve Notes short.

These are just more proof that BHO hates the America we love.

          • Stacy says:

It sounds like you would dicredit the truth about our rights being taken because the messenger is making money from presenting the message. Personally, I don’t take anything , let alone everything, that is said or written as truth. The ability to think, analyze and discern used to be the purpose of an education…not so much anymore. Thank God I had parents who challenged me to do just that or I would fit into the mold of those who bite everything and know nothing. There are many of us who can see the truth in the message without lionizing the messenger. How about the hypocrite Michael Moore? Criticizes the capitalist system except that his credibility is nonexistent because he obviously doesn’t have a problem with capitalism when he cashes the checks from his so-called movies. The truth is that there have been many people that have done a great deal of service and damage by the message they bring and the unfortunate choices they make about the way they do business. Left and Right are both guilty. Are you of the opinion that George Soros, champion of the ultra-left agenda, isn’t making and/or does not stand to make even more money with his support of that agenda? I would challenge you to look at your own side’s vulnerabilities with this in mind. Al Gore is making a lot of money promoting what I believe to be global snakeoil. I don’t need any one to tell me that it is hooey. I formed my conclusion on my own by reading what both yea and nay-sayers wrote. Most conservatives would agree that we need to be prudent with and take better care of our home. The policies of Gore and his ilk are only for the benefit of themselves and whoever can hitch a ride on their money wagon. In the end liberals are hijacking liberals unwilling to look objectively at the agenda the liberal machine is pushing. The lies, corruption and conceptual hijacking are not the exclusive domain of any party, ideology or agenda. This is America after all and the land of opportunity. If a politician or person of any position can find an opportunity to screw someone for their (the politicians)own gain they are usually not particular about what ideology their “host” (implying politicians are parasites) ascribes to even if it is “one of their own” ideologically speaking. I do not intend this as an insult or attack on your ideology only a challenge to consider your own thought process as you seem to be so critical, not of those who differ in their ideology, but insulting our intelligence because you don’t like the messengers. Not usually a valid position in a serious debate.

    • Richard Pawley says:

One of the things that has helped this country be strong was that we usually had just two parties but the Bush/Obama spending has forced us into a great change that is coming. Bush spent more than any president before him and Obama has topped that in less than ten months. (This will assure tremendous inflation in the next 36 months even if the president abdicated tomorrow). My wife recently had a dream in which the president returned home to Chicago with his head bowed so low that she was surprised he could walk. Such will be his disgrace but he is only one person and he needs Congress and the special interests to really destroy the country. By himself he can do little. He is not a king. The point is…the inflation can’t be stopped…well it can be but as I explain in my latest book it would require a great change to personal morality and personal accountability which is sadly lacking in large segments of both parties and in big business as well. Of course non of them see that. Reminds me of the old saying “the blind leading the blind”. What Obama is REALLY doing is assuring that no Democrat will be elected president for at least a generation. Sadly no-quasi Republican will make things any better either. What we need is a Constitutional Party, one that believes in the principals of what the founding fathers brought forth for the first time in history on this continent. We do not need “holier than thou” politicians of any ilk who believe that they and Wall Street know what is best for every citizen from birth to the grave. As a nation we have rejected the righteousness of the God of our founding fathers and He is not amused. He let ancient Israel go their way when they got to big for their britches and He is soon going to let the Great USA (and the world) see what it is like to ignore his Love, and to follow the gods of hate, and greed, and murder. As the founder of Pennsylvania (William Penn) once said, “Those who will not be ruled by God will be ruled by tyrants.” Well, many states have made their choice and we are all going to have to pay the price. In the words of elderly NYC minister David Wilkerson, “God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.” Pelosi and Reid and Obama are merely speeding up the process. A radical turn-over in next years election may slow things down a bit and that, I think, is worthwhile, but we are still going to have more inflation than Americans can imagine. Our government could be stockpiling wheat so our citizens don’t go hungry in a few years but few in Washington have any clue of anything outside their narrow interests. Soon no one is going to lend us any more money and we will just print what we need and that will ultimately destroy the dollar as it has every other countries money that has ever done this. (This year, for the first time in history, we have begun to do this. It’s one of the reasons that gold has shot up (and gasoline and dehydrated bananas and lead and…well you get the idea) because the value of the dollar has dropped more than 13% since Obama took over and a whole lot more since the Democrats took over Congress in 2006. Some in Congress will be proud that they have torn down “the Old World Order” and the burning and looting in our streets will be a result of their outrageous spending. Now, I’m not saying that all in Congress are doing this – there are about a dozen or so in each party who care about the country but they cannot stop the avalanche that both parties have been causing by their tinkering with the Constitution and their unbelievable greed, egotism, and spending, health care plans and energy taxes and all the rest. Think this is all outrageous? Just print it out and keep a copy so you can look at it in a few years and remember what the USA used to be like. If you believe in the God of the Universe then pray for His enlightenment and most of all get ready for a time like no other that has ever been. With God’s help things can get better for you – they are not going to get better for the world! May God bless all who love Him and their fellow man. You may feel you have no need of Him now. You will not be thinking that in a few years. Remember the saying “there are no atheists in foxholes!”

      • Stacy says:

For whatever it is worth the Bible teaches that God will not let those that seek, fear, depend on Him fall but it also teaches that those of us who rely on Him will see it happen to the world system. This is all a big mess as we watch the festering pussball of greed and corruption come to a head. You wrote something to the effect that with God’s help it will get better for us but it won’t for the world. There are many examples of God’s provision for His people in times of extreme circumstances. I don’t believe that God’s people will fall (notwithstanding if we have been unwise or rebellious we will experience the natuaral consequences for it) but you are correct in that the world system that has thumbed it’s nose at God is imploding. If there was ever a time to seek the Lord and His way of doing things, even if the world is going to hell in a handbasket, it would be now. I read in another post that there are some who believe that our nation is under judgement. I don’t know that I believe our nation is under judgement so much as the Babylonian system is crumbling. There are many things that happen as a result of our own actions and in this case the actions of governments, soul-less heads of state etc that will result eventually in a reaping of natural consequences (apparently this system is reaping some serious consequences); however, in my mind the judgement of God is not the same as natural consequences. Having said that I believe the question begs to be asked, “How long can a nation make policies as we have in this country before we begin to see the consequences of those policies?” I guess we can look at what is coming down around us 9 and has been for the last twenty-five years) and get a pretty good idea of the answer. I’m not a scholar this is just what I believe. I enjoyed reading your comments. Thanks.

I don’t know that leaders are necessarily evil, but they are human, and it is human nature to feather one’s own nest first. We as voters just need to recognize that their inclinations are usually going to be to grow government larger. So, we need to be vigilant and throw out those that succumb to those urges.

            Miner,

Euthanasia can be at the hands of others. This is not, and will not ever be part of Libertarian philosophy.

        • Richard Pawley says:

Well, Stacy, you are a thinker too and I have appreciated what you have written as well in previous discourses. I have long wondered about the dichotomy (if there is one) between the natural consequences of our actions and God’s judgement. Is the coming earthquake in Los Angeles (predicted by what was found with Bible Code software many years ago) between now and September 8th of next year, a judgement of God or just tectonic plate movements that were known to the writer of the Torah over 3,000 years ago? Are the people in LA any more godless than elsewhere? Could it be all of the above? I don’t know. I do know that God forbid the sacrificing of babies or young children to alien non-gods in ancient times and in this country we have sacrificed about 50,000,000 infants, some right up to the time of birth to the god of Hedonism. These are all things I mention in my book on America’s last days (not necessarily the world’s). I know of only one bonafide prophet that I have ever encountered in my life and I mention him in both my books. I’m sure he wouldn’t agree with my understanding on some things but I know that when he says God has revealed something you can bank on it. He first mentioned this financial crisis the world is just beginning to experience back in 1989. He has also said that God is going to bring about a world wide famine. Doesn’t mean next year of the year after but the inflation I predict is coming will make food a lot more precious than we have ever thought of it before. Famine by the way was a classic means by which God chastised those who went astray in ancient times. The Book of Revelation predicts a time when a days food will cost a days wage. I believe we may live to see that, and the destruction of the dollar by those in Congress which will cause a ripple effect on all currencies, and one of many results will be severe food shortages caused by bad money everywhere. The CIA predicted world-wide famine over a quarter of a century ago and the Club of Rome (scientists) over 35 years ago. We are just living in and seeing the beginning of the causes of it all. Bad weather (and crop diseases world wide) doesn’t help either. Our nation owes more money than any nation has ever owed. The Progressives from McCain to Obama-Pelosi-Reid have squandered a Trillion dollars on so-called Stimulus packages (if you started spending a million dollars a day when Jesus was having the last supper and you continued spending a million dollars a day from then till now, you would have almost, but not quite, spent ONE TRILLION dollars. Obama-Pelosi-Reid and other progressives plan to spend or at least go into debt a trillion dollars each year for the next ten years! I predict it will never happen and that the whole system will crash first. The health care bill won’t cover everyone and it alone could make the value of our money drop in half. One hundred percent more inflation to pay for health care reform WITHOUT REALLY REFORMING ANYTHING! These people are all lawyers who have been living off the taxpayers for far to long. It is hard to believe they are ignorant of the destruction they are causing. 12 TRILLION already and a trillion more per year. It’s a debt. I do not believe that even inflation can cancel it all although a US dollar or a Zimbabwe dollar used to be the same, and last I heard it cost 12 TRILLION Zimbabwe dollars to buy a loaf of bread. Terrible inflation is needed for the Federal Reserves of the world to profit from their growing derivative investments so I believe they will do whatever it takes to create it (but not in used houses). Our money isn’t real anyway and that is why China and India and all smart countries but ours are buying up gold whenever they can. Gold will eventually go much higher but you can’t eat it. Learn to do what some in your state are doing, stockpile food for a lean year or a lean decade. I do believe it is God’s judgement. Mankind may turn to Him when millions are dying. Then again, maybe not! We do tend to be a stubborn lot, much like ancient Israel.

He didn’t get where he is by being unlikeable. But his stand on what is right for this country is wrong. He has no good intentions for us.
You are the hate monger. You are trying to demonize the Right. You also are blind to the truth. But, that is your problem.
You talk about JFK. He really was a good President even though his dad backed Hitler in WW2 and had wanted to be Pres. himself, but since he backed Hitler he was done in this country, so he groomed his sons to be a part of our government. JFK was good compared to Ted. Ted was like his dad, rotten.

      • JeffH says:

Jana, a little correction, Joe Kennedy never backed Hitler in WWII.
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_P._Kennedy

        • Jana says:

Jeff, then what was JFK and Ted Kennedy’s dad’s name? He is the one who did this.
He was Ambassador to England and backed Hitler, therefore making him so unpopular that he could not run for Pres. I thought his name was Joseph but could be wrong on that point.

          • Curtis S says:

You’re absolutley right Jana, it was Joe Kennedy Sr., the father of JFK and RFK who was most definitely a NAZI sympathizer, when he was the US ambassador to England.

          • JeffH says:

Jana, Joe K being a Nazi sympathizer was based on his dislike of the Jews, whom he felt threatened his financial and political ambitions.
He never backed or supported Hitler during WWII.

        • JeffH says:

Jana and Curtis S…first things first, Kennedy never gave Hitler his support DURING WWII!
Kennedy rejected the warnings of Winston Churchill that compromise with Nazi Germany was impossible; instead he supported Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain’s policy of appeasement in order to stave off a second world war that would be a more horrible “armageddon” than the first. Throughout 1938, as the Nazi persecution of Jews intensified, Kennedy attempted to obtain an audience with Adolf Hitler. Shortly before the Nazi aerial bombing of British cities began in September 1940, Kennedy sought a personal meeting with Hitler, again without State Department approval, “to bring about a better understanding between the United States and Germany.”

Curtis S, you’re comment doesn’t have any bearing on Jana’s comment.

    • Beberoni says:

Why is it, when all these guys you mention, literally speak a word of truth exposing this Obama character for what he is, that you on the left call it “hate speech”? Maybe you should research the things they say, and when you find out what they say is true, contrary to the baloney you hear on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC, you should write them and thank them for doing their jobs as talk show hosts and reporters, by telling the general public the truth. I reserve your right as an American to not like them, by turning off your radio and not listening to them, but your not going to get away with calling the truth they speak as hate speech, because its just not true. You tell me one lie they have said about this guy. Come on, dig deep. Where is it at? Tell me PLEASE, one lie? You cant, because you sir, are a liar, and you spread your propaganda. Shame on you. Please get educated before you spew your lies again.

    • eyeswideopen says:

Ronald, those on this site claim to not be racists. I would like one of them to explain why the FBI is stating that the radical hate groups threatening to kill the President is up 400% in 6 months. This is the highest the threat has ever been. What could be the reason? Oh, that’s right, the man is black. What is the make-up of these groups? White. Not Asian and white, brown and white, just plain old white with no minorities mixed in. What is so alarming is that not only are they white, but they belong to one party, the Conservatives. What the group doesn’t understand is after they do the ultimate deed, the Conservatives will never again have control of this country. They will be defeating their purpose.

      • Jana says:

Hmmmmm, eyes, you sure seem to know a lot about how a radical thinks. You also seem to know a lot about hate. That pretty well labels you very fast. It takes one to know one as well as you claim to know them.
You also seem to think you know about conservatives and that is where you go wrong.

In the first place, I don’t know why his threats are up to 400%, as we in this group are not the ones doing it. The Radical hate groups are the ones that are on the Fringe that go live out in communes and gather together to live. They don’t believe in paying taxes etc. I saw a documentary on them and yes, they are Radical. And, no we as responsible people do not agree with that ideology.

What I would like to know is what is wrong with you and people like you. You seem to have a mental block that common sense just doesn’t penetrate.

You have one goal and that is to tear down good decent people. You have one mantra and that is accusing those who don’t agree with you of wanting to do terrible things.

I have learned that when someone accuses someone else so much like you are doing, it is what you are harboring in your heart yourself.

Maybe you had better rethink your own motives.

  18. Biresh Banerji says:

The democrats will help Prez Obama to sign the climate change agreemansent. The Republicans will relent after some opposition and after some token ammendmants. The world is already bracing up for global government based on climate change treaty.

    • DaveH says:

I doubt it. Look what’s happening with the health care bill. It barely squeaked by the House the second time around. There were many more pro-votes the first time it went through the House. Many of the Democrats from conservative districts are running scared now in the Senate.
For the treaty to be ratified, there would need to be 2/3 approval by the Senate. I don’t think many Republicans would be willing to give up our Sovereignty.
The only possibility I see would be if the Senate didn’t exercise its Constitutional power to ratify the Treaty. The citizens will make sure that doesn’t happen.

      • eyeswideopen says:

Daveh. you need to check other sources besides Fox. The treaty is not going to be ratified. It is already dead. Our local paper already had article last week. They will be meeting but won’t be signing the proposed treaty.

        • Jana says:

I sure hope so eyes. However Obama IS TRICKY and we are supposed to believe your newspaper uhhhh why??

          • Ray Parker says:

Obama will sign the treaty, because he is Obama. There will be no Senate, or house acquiecense, because he was voted in, for CHANGE, you “idiots”, south of our “undefended” border, are to be complimented for voting for “change”!! change is what you asked for, as a people, and “change” is what you are getting!!”
Obama will sign, and you folks, [and “we folks”, as well, will lose what little “freedom” we have left ~~~ !!!

  19. Ralph Montigny says:

You want to stop this madness, one of three steps, constitutional amendment, nullification by each state or remove the traitors by force, lets try the first two, inform enough people and we can do it.
Remember evil can only win when good men do nothing.

May God Bless the American People

  20. Keith says:

For those of you who are Biblically literate (I know there aren’t many), it is our Father, Himself, who is making the one-world political system occur, along with a one-world economy, one-world educational system and one-world religion. These are the four hidden dynasties, hidden from most peoples’ eyes. He is doing it because so many people WANT to believe a lie, so He is going to help them believe it. What ‘those with eyes’ are instructed to do is watch like a man on a watchtower. Give the alarm to any who will listen. Fight the good fight of faith – otherwise our present world would become worse than in the times of Sodum and Gemorah. (Do you remember what the people were doing there?) As for our beoved U.S.A., fight on, because it is written that we will always control our gates (borders). It is my opinion that the good Christian citizens of the U.S.A., and possibly other Christian nations, will cause the deadly wound to the one-world government that anti-christ will come to heal. We are the “mighty ships of Chittum,” the great USA Navy and other military branches. So no, Obama is not anti-christ, but he could be the “Raiser of Taxes,” who does the work of anti-christ (i.e., satan). It is written that the Raiser of Taxes comes immediately before anti-christ. Let’s put all enemies under Christ’s feet – that’s our job. The sixth trumpet is sounding soon! Watch, watchmen, watch!

    • Beberoni says:

No, he isnt the anti-christ. It is written that I will recognize this one when he comes. This dude isnt him. But he is an evil dude, that represents an evil party trying to do evil things, and call them right. I will do what I can do to fight them, and that is to vote against them in 2010 and 2012. That is my responsibility. That is probably how this cat got elected, because so many people shirked their responsibility to vote, and let the uneducated vote this leper into office. Shame on you that didnt vote. Your irresponsibility is making all of us suffer.

    • Ray Parker says:

The “our father” you are referring to, is the Devil!! He makes the rules, and you “little people” follow him, not the GOD of the Universe. You will see, that the UN, will DIVIDE Jerusalem, and that will make the “real” FATHER, rather angry ~~ Why?? Because He said: Thou shalt NOT Divide the LAND!! That piece of “land” is Jerusalem!!!Well, for that matter, that piece of “land”, “happens” to the “piece of land”, that God gave to Abraham, and his descendents, which of course, includes Christians, as well as the Jews!!!

  21. Bob in FL says:

It is good to see everyone here agrees that obama is giving away our country. We, the U.S., need to get out of the U.N.and kick em out of America and take Al Gore with them. I pray that the case in CA on obama’s eligibility will end his political career. He is a British Subject, doesn’t matter where he was born, at the time of his birth his father was a british subject and laws at the time make barack British also.
Should obama somehow succeed in getting his one world gov’t he will be a stones throw away from making America a Muslim nation under Sharia law.
God Help us, God save us, God show us the way to defeat this demon, Through Jesus Christ, Amen

    • JeffH says:

Bob in FL, sorry but there is no longer a case in California…it is now history. We have to move on to the imoportant things like stopping the Obamatrain and his “ship of fools” from destroying and selling out The Constitution.

  22. Christopher says:

This is maddness….I watched a video a week ago with Lord Christopher talking about this treaty…it was some pretty scarey stuff.I can not beleive that OBAMA can sign a treaty that will put a big tax on gas and heating oil that EVERY AMERICAN will have to pay. Is there anyone out there that is not a politican and will uphold our CONSTITUTION to the letter?? 3 more years…All will be lost by then.My children and grandchildren are the ones that will lose the most…….freedom and the end of the USA as you and I know it.

    • JeffH says:

The possibilities are real as Lord Mouncton has stated. It is better to prepare for a fight than to respond unprepared. Contact your representatives and let them know your stance, with them and with the Obamanation’s menaical plan to ruin America.

  23. Potlady says:

Talk is cheap, folks. I know we’re all mad as hell but talking “ain’t” gonna totally solve the problem. The solution is not going to be painless. If we are responsible Americans who have worked hard to earn our own way without handouts from the “plantation massah” (Washington), then we probably have good, cushy lives and it is understandable that we don’t want to lose that. But we may have to make some financial sacrifices. If you lived in hurricane country like I do, you would understand how devastating life can be without power, goods, groceries, any kind of services……Gasoline pumps don’t work when there is no power. Water can be contaminated. The list goes on. But what if the whole country went through that? What if we all went “on strike”? I’ve lived through a hurricane’s aftermath and it’s not easy but I’m none the worse for the wear. It makes me more appreciative of the way of life this country affords us. Collectively, we can do something to wake up these buffoons in Washington by showing them how we can shut things down if they don’t like America or being an American. We have an expression in hurricane country – “Shelter in Place”. These trips to Washington and the Tea Party gatherings are great, but some of us can’t make those. I’m a caretaker of a disabled son and I simply cannot attend the ones that are distant, but I’d lay low for a few days if others would join me. Does anyone recall the movie, “The Day the Earth Stood Still”? (the original one). Why don’t we do that?……altogether at the same time. Wouldn’t that get their attention? Even if they can print money out of thin air, what good does that do if no one spends it or produces anything? I’m telling you……it won’t be painless.

    • DaveH says:

It would be a lot easier to march on Washington DC. I have seen enough of Obama and his supporters to know they would just loot the United States if we quit working. The only non-violent solution I can see is to let our Representatives know to start looking for work soon.

    • Stacy says:

I’ve never seen the movie you mention. I’m going to watch it so i understand what you are suggesting. If the idea is to not spend a dime that isn’t extremely necessary I think we should do that but as you say there are some who are just way too comfortable…it would be smart of us to pay the piper now by choice rather than later on their terms. Seriously, I believe the reason our economy is not turning is because there are a majority of Americans who are not spending because they have no confidence in where they see this administration heading. Or perhaps they see no direction in domestic policy only a so-called president who doesn’t even have a foreign policy except one of apologies for America and apparently selling us to the highest bidder for what I suspect is his own profit (ironically he thinks we should be paying them via this global warming treaty as well?). Guess that is a handy little system he has, huh? Are these notions showing up as a huge vote of “no confidence?” Coupled with an unemployment rate at 10.2% at last report and a housing market where no one has any value left in their homes is there anything left to wonder about the topic? Just some things I’ve considered.

    • Jana says:

Well, the illegals all took a day off and shut down several businesses a couple of years ago. I haven’t seen the movie that you are talking about either.

  24. Missy says:

I have figured it out…why Romney backed out! He was bought off so McCain would run…who is in bed with the rest of them. Is Palin a pawn too? Just because they are running as a republican doesn’t mean they are truly interested in protecting the American freedoms. McCain ended up voting for the Healthcare reform and now the climate change treaty. We truly are in serious trouble! We were sheep too long…now the wolves have taken over!

    • American Citizen says:

Read Sarah Palin’s book. I understand she has laid out what she stands for. She is a true conservative.

      • coal miner says:

        American,

She is also a quitter. She couldn’t stand the heat amd she said it is time to get out of the kitchen.

        • JeffH says:

Call her what you like. She poses a serious threat to the Dems, otherwise she couldn’t get Mad Magazine to cover her. At least she’s not a traitorous marxist Chicago thug like your kingO is.
