We snickered when Iran and Iraq were at war with each other. So why would anyone really care if we destroy the land of the Christian Bible, a book, I believe, that is used as a blue print for world demonination. Maybe if we attack Iran as some of the radio hosts have wanted us to do during the summer, maybe we can cut down the unemployment rate.Someday, maybe the Protestants will realize that you Conservatives hate and criticize our government because when this so called anti-Christ comes, it will a religious ruler. Who really cares of us destroying the Middle East. Just one less competitor for the Christian ant-Christ to deal with.

Besides this is how to interpret what he said.”We want Iran taken out, US ground forces will do the job for us, we will do a lot of bombing though, because we have a lot of US bombs we’d like to use up to keep our inventory up to date, and we’d like to give our guys the practice. They have already decided to take Iran out, Biden let the cat out of the bag.
People may not be aware that Iran, an ancient civilization, is very rich in natural resources, including water, resources Israel desparately needs. America has
already trashed Iraq with DU, chemical and biological weapons (which the US Gov. sold to Saddam and then blew up in situ), birth defects are the norm now.
Please do not support additional US aggression to the people of the Middle East.

Barak to Gates: Military option on table
July 27, 2009

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel intends to keep a military option on the table in response to Iran’s nuclear program, Defense Minister Ehud Barak told his U.S. counterpart.

“We clearly believe that no option should be removed from the table,” Barak told reporters following a meeting Monday in Jerusalem with U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. “This is our policy. We mean it. We recommend to others to take the same position, but we cannot dictate it to anyone.”

Barak made similar statements two more times.

Gates said the U.S. offer of dialogue with Iran was not open-ended, adding that President Obama hoped to hear a response from Iran by the fall. The American defense chief added that he was aware that Iran could try to “run out the clock” while continuing to produce a nuclear weapon.

Gates also reassured Barak that the United States will help Israel protect itself, invoking a new plan to provide an as-yet-undefined defense umbrella for the region.

“We will continue to ensure that Israel has the most advanced weapons for its national defense, on the American taxpayers money” he said.

Gates met later Monday with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Most of their discussion was related to Iran, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Gates was scheduled to leave Israel Monday for meetings in Jordan.

In June 2009 former Israeli defence minister Shaul Mofaz told Israeli radio that Iran is a ballistic power close to becoming a nuclear power.

“Iran has undoubtedly passed beyond the point of no return, moving closer to the ultimate nuclear capacity everyday,” said Mofaz.

Sorry Annie, but I take his opinion more seriously than yours.
