Good point abut the abuse of the system with free medical care. The powers that be have everyone so scared of everything, we have a nation of hypochondriacs. How about teaching folks how to become healthy, not just keep them alive with pharmaceuticals? I know, it’s the economy, stupid!
Ron Paul speaks great about the governmental socialistic healthcare. I have a mixed opinion on this though. My husband recently died from hospital complications due to MRSA and Sepsis (Bad Blood) which they claim they check 3 times because they give it to a patient. Also he was in remission due to Esophageal Cancer and the doctor who claims he did everything right screwed up the surgery and blocked off his Colon. Didn’t find this out till the Otopsy was done. So…. I’m without a husband and healthcare which I’d love to have since I’m still raising 4 kids in the home yet we don’t qualify because access says we make too much on SSI. The bigger problem I see is that we put too much trust in doctors like their GOD. We look up to them to solve the problems and bring a patient out of surgery healed. No wonder the doctors worry about being sued by attorneys. If we had doctors that knew what they were doing then we wouldn’t have fatalities. Even with all the tests they did on my husband they still managed to screw it up and yes, they will have to pay the price of being sued in order to support my family since they killed my husband. So biggest solution is take care of your own health and avoid the doctors. Get to the root of the problem and stop taking drugs that only mask the symthoms or we will all die due to stupidity. Enough said. I think I’ve made my point strongly.

I agree with Sylvia about taking better care of ourselves…and remember that “Medecine” is a commerical enterprise first and foremost. I have reservations about government-run Healthcare, however. We should pay close attention to the pro and con arguements
of all parties with this issue and stay above politics.
Follow the money. Animal health – animal husbandry goal, healthy reproducing livestock for sale and replenishment. Proper nutrition, good management(lifestyle) gets those goals done, not taking over the counter or health additives. Yet when medication is needed, the cost of a 100 ml of penicillan is $12.00 retail. The exact same medication administered by a doctor is $29.00 for 1 ml and then you still are paying $85 – $100 for the visit. The same is true of all medication; same manufacturers, same safety, same quality but once it is labeled for animal health the costs are dramatically lower. No one in human health care will discuss this. You have public schools, public housing, we don’t need public health care. It will probably kill you. As for staying above politics, that is why we are in the current mess, politics. We have to get dirty and jump into the fray of politics. The politicians are so far removed from the average American that they need daily contact with us so they can be innoculated with common sense.
I would like to encourage everyone reading these posted comments to go to reversethevote.com. The more people taking action by going to reversethevote.com the sooner we can BEAT the obamacare, pelosi-care & reidhealthcare. Also I found this on the hughhewitt.com website; That is, call these senators at this toll-free number l-877-22l-82ll, pin #552l3 & tell them NOT to support a healthcare bill that requires people to buy very expensive health plans, that they may not be able to afford. 2) tell them not to support imposing fines & imprisoning people who do not buy what they cannot afford. 3) tell them they should vote for a system that leads to health care rationing denying people care that doctors think they should have. Lastly, tell them wethepeople (conservative of course) need to make our own private market for healthcare. Wethepeople need to comprise a private market healthcare plan policy, REALLY!! Please email back on this, maybe someone else has other conservative ideas on this matter. I only want to hear conservative ideas, OK? THANKYOU& KIND REGARDS,
