If You Are Known by the Company You Keep, What do Obama’s Associates Say About Him?

In the Aesop’s Fable, The Ass and His Purchaser, a man looking to buy a donkey wanted to test the animal before completing the purchase. So he put the donkey in his field with the other donkeys to see what would happen.
The donkey immediately strayed from the majority of the herd and cozied up to the laziest donkey of all.
Seeing that, the man led the donkey back to his owner. When the owner asked how he could judge the donkey’s character so quickly the man explained, “I didn’t even need to see how he worked. I knew he would be just like the one he chose to be his friend.”
A person is known by the company he keeps.
Fables are popular because they tell the story of the way things in life really work. In business, when someone takes over a department or company, that person promotes those he or she likes to positions of authority. The new manager seeks out those who have a philosophy, work ethic and disposition similar to his.
One would expect a president to do the same thing. After all, a president is elected—supposedly—based on the vision, ideas and proposals he championed during the campaign. It would then make sense that he would put in place those who supported his vision and would therefore be enthusiastic in working to achieve it.
So who are President Barack Obama’s friends, and who has he put in charge of the effort to enact his policies? And what do the friends he has chosen and the people he has put in position of authority in his administration say about him?
Following, in alphabetical order, is a list of some of Obama’s friends, advisors and people charged with enacting his policies:
- William Ayers—Now a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ayers spent 10 years as a fugitive in the 1970s when he was part of the domestic terrorist organization known as the Weather Underground. In the early 1970s the Weather Underground was responsible for bombing the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C., and setting a bomb that didn’t go off at a military induction center in Oakland, Calif. The group also murdered two policemen and a Brink’s truck driver in a botched armored car robbery, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) website. Ayers surrendered to face charges in the 1980s, but the charges were dropped because of improper surveillance. Coincidentally, on Sept. 11, 2001, Ayers was being interviewed about a book he had written and he told the interviewer he didn’t think the Weather Underground had done enough. Ayers and Obama first crossed paths in Chicago in the 1990s and served together on the board of the not-for-profit Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a boondoggle to spend tens of millions of dollars for their pet “education” projects. Obama downplayed his friendship with Ayers as casual, but evidence indicates their relationship was much more. Many now believe that Ayers penned Obama’s “autobiography” Dreams from My Father.
- Carol Browner—Obama’s Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy, Browner is an avowed socialist. She served as one of 14 leaders of Socialist International’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for global governance and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change, according to an article in The Washington Times. The group supports socialism and has been harshly critical of U.S. policies. She is also a supporter of smart growth policies, as we have described previously. Browner also served on the board of Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection, though her name was scrubbed from the site after Obama tapped her for the director’s position. Not surprisingly, Obama’s transition team told The Times Browner’s membership in a socialist organization was not a problem.
- Frank Marshall Davis—You won’t find Davis’ name on an organizational chart of White House staff, but he was instrumental in forming the political philosophy of Barack Hussein Obama. Called “Uncle Frank” in Dreams from My Father, Davis was a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), according to a 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii. Obama has admitted to spending time with Uncle Frank—who he cryptically describes as being a person of some modest notoriety at one time—and listening to his poetry and getting career path advice. Davis may also have been a pedophile. Writing under the pseudonym Bob Greene, Davis wrote a debased pornographic novel entitled, Sex Rebel: Black (Memiors of a Gash Gourmet), in which he describes group sex encounters and sex he and his wife had with a 13-year-old girl named Anne. Davis died in 1987.
- Anita Dunn—As White House Communications advisor, Dunn has been seen a lot lately as the face of the Obama administration’s strategy to try and discredit Fox News. She is described on Politico.com as a veteran Democratic strategist and top advisor on Obama’s presidential campaign. As the war between the Obama White House (see more under Rham Emmanual) and Fox has escalated, videotape has surfaced showing Dunn gloating over how the campaign “controlled” the media. Another videotape surfaced showing Dunn speaking at a June high school graduation ceremony where she praised Marxist/Communist Chinese Premiere Mao Zedong as one of her favorite philosophers and one of the two people she turns to most. It’s difficult to understand how Mao had time to philosophize as he was busy killing somewhere between 50 million and 70 million of his country’s citizens during his 27-year reign of terror.
- Ezekiel Emanuel—The president’s Special Advisor for Health Policy, Ezekiel is brother to White House Chief of Staff Rham Emanuel. Ezekiel is the source of Sarah Palin’s death panel idea. This Emanuel has written that he believes many healthcare treatments should be denied to those under 15 and over 65 to save money, the rationale being that only people between 15 and 65 are beneficial to society.
- Rahm Emanuel—Obama’s White House Chief of Staff, Emanuel is a thug Chicago politician who once sent a two-and-a-half foot long, dead and decomposing fish to lobbyist Allen Secrest to express his displeasure. He’s known for his full-time use of gutter language and once told then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair just before an appearance with Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal: “This is important. Don’t f**k it up.” He also coined the phrase, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” He’s also behind the ridiculous policy of starting a fight with television news agency Fox News.
- Chai Feldblum—Nominated by the president to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Feldblum signed a radical 2006 manifesto which endorsed polygamous households and argued traditional marriage should not be privileged “above all others,” according to a report in Catholic News Agency. According to a statement from the White House, Feldblum has worked on advancing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights…” She is co-director of Workplace Flexibility 2010, which she described at a UCLA symposium as a homosexual rights group that aimed to change the American workplace and revolutionize social mores, according to a report on the WorldnetDaily website.
- Patrick Gaspard—White House Political Director, Gaspard was formerly a lobbyist for Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the organization that sent its thugs out to disrupt Tea Party protests and stir up trouble at town hall meetings in August. Prior to that, Gaspard worked as national field director for American Coming Together (ACT), a sub-group of the Association for Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). ACT was fined $775,000 in civil penalties by the federal government for various voter fraud offenses. You can read more about ACORN here.
- Eric Holder—The Attorney General of the United States is an anti-gun racist who earlier this year referred to the United States as “a nation of cowards” on race relations. He also has an interesting take on justice. He worked to convince President Clinton to pardon billionaire fugitive Mark Rich (convicted of fraud and racketeering), Weather Underground (where have we heard of that organization before?) terrorists Susan Rosenberg and Linda Evans, and he declined to prosecute New Black Panther brutes who stood over a Pennsylvania polling station with baseball bats intimidating voters. Oh yes, he also wants to bring Guantanamo Bay prisoners to the United States.
- John Holdren—Obama’s Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy is not only an abortion supporter, he is an abortion nut who believes that compulsory abortions could be sustained under the existing U.S. Constitution if a population crisis arose. He also supports mass sterilization of the U.S. population through lacing the country’s water supply with drugs. Holdren authored with two other people a book called Ecoscience promoting their loony ideas about population control and One World Government—or what they called a Planetary Regime—to regulate international trade, the food supply and determine the optimum population for the world.
- Valerie Jarrett—The New York Times called Jarrett, Obama Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, the ultimate Obama insider. She has also been called the other half of Obama’s brain. She’s another one of those Chicago thug politicians who has gamed the system—including operating as a slum lord—for her own benefit. Her company, Habitat, Inc., managed the Grove Parc housing complex which was located in the district represented by State Senator Obama. As state senator, Obama coauthored a bill to give tax credits for developers which Jarrett used on the complex. As U.S. senator, Obama pressed for increased federal subsidies for like projects. Despite receiving government funds and tax credits, Grove Parc was ordered demolished because of its deplorable condition. She also served the administrations of Chicago mayors Harold Washington and Richard Daly, both scandal-plagued. Washington, by the way, was backed in his bid for mayor by Chicago’s Communist Party and the local branch of the Democratic Socialists of America. Called by the Washington Post a tutor to Obama and his wife Michelle, Jarrett is the step-daughter of Chicago journalist Vernon Jarrett. Vernon Jarrett was an associate of Frank Marshal Davis, Obama’s mentor, when Davis lived in Chicago prior to moving to Hawaii.
- Kevin Jennings—This former school teacher and long-time gay rights activist was named Obama’s Safe Schools Czar. He has accused Baptists, the Boy Scouts and sports fans of anti-gay bias, and advocates a special high school for gay teens and gay-straight alliance clubs for every high school in America, according to a report in CNSNews.com. He believes that kindergartners should be taught to respect all sexual orientations while insisting that “ex-gay messages” and “Christian values” are misused to isolate or denigrate lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and have no place in the nation’s public schools, CNSNews.com reported. Oh yeah, he also supports pedophilia. While Jennings was a teacher, a minor student told Jennings that he was having gay sex with an adult. Jennings covered it up. He also has praised Harry Hay, a defender of the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which promotes legalization of sexual abuse of young boys by older men.
- Van Jones—Once Obama’s White House Environmental Advisor, Jones was fired in the dead of night on a holiday weekend after a video surfaced in which he called Republicans a bodily orifice, and after a controversial document he signed was revealed. That document accused former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney of either planning or knowing about ahead of time the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. In addition to being a 9/11 Truther, Jones is an avowed Communist. He was appointed to his position by Valerie Jarrett, who has been seen on video praising Jones and saying she and Obama had been watching Jones for a long time.
- Mark Lloyd—FCC Diversity Czar, is also known as the man who wants to stifle free speech in America like Hugo Chavez does in Venezuela. He has been videotaped saying the Chavez revolution in Venezuela was almost lost because of the privately-owned media. Chavez, of course, is the Marxist dictator of Venezuela, personal friend to Communist dictator Fidel Castro of Cuba and Islamic terrorist dictator Mahmoud Ahmadenijad of Iran. In 2006, while at the liberal Center for American Progress, Lloyd wrote a book entitled, Prologue to a Farce: Communications and Democracy in America. In it he presents the idea that all private broadcasters should be charged licensing fees at a rate equal to their operating expenses and that money should go to the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). In a 2007 report entitled The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio, Lloyd complains about the fact that people want to listen to Christian and conservative talk radio rather than liberal radio, and lists ways the Federal government can fix the “problem.” His solution would include caps on the number of local stations a corporation can own, ensure greater local accountability on radio licensing and require owners who fail to fulfill their obligations to pay a fee to support PBS.
- Cecelia Munoz—Now White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, Munoz was previously Senior Vice President of The National Council of La Raza, the largest Hispanic lobbying organization in the country, which has called national anti-immigration groups “hate groups.” La Raza, which literally translates The Race, funds extremist groups and supports illegal immigration as a way of obtaining political power. The group advocates taking the Southwest U.S. for the purpose of creating a new Hispanic state.
- Cass Sunstein—Recently confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Administrator of the White House Office of Administration and Regulatory Affairs, Sunstein is a Harvard Law School professor and dingbat who has—in writings and speeches—called for a ban on all hunting and claims that animals should be represented by lawyers in animal abuse cases. He is a socialist who has advocated for gun control and heavy regulation of the Internet. He also wrote in his 2008 book, Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness, that he believes people’s organs can be harvested without their consent. Sunstein would like to see personal email communications regulated by the government and believes the Internet is anti-democratic because of the way users can filter out information of their own choosing.
- Rev. Jeremiah Wright—Obama sat in Wright’s church for 20 years yet claims to have never heard any of the hate-filled racism that crossed his lips. Wright’s anti-Semitic, anti-American sermons came to light during the campaign. Among his claims: the U.S. government was responsible for infecting blacks with the virus that causes AIDS, America was responsible for the 9/11 attacks—“the chickens have come home to roost”—and Jews are responsible for ethnic cleansing in Gaza and are pressuring Obama associates to keep Wright and Obama separated.
These are just a few of the folks who have occupied or currently occupy Obama’s inner circle. He was passed off by the mainstream media as being a centrist and moderate, but many of friends are anything but that, and some are quite radical. And when you parse some of his words or find video or audio from several years ago you know that Obama himself has some radical views.
But the media ignored Obama’s ties to radicals and communists. That, and Obama’s soaring rhetoric led many otherwise thoughtful and good people down the primrose path, and they voted for him without realizing what they were getting.
But as the truth gets out about his associates, the cover is coming off. He’s becoming known by the company he keeps, as well as his own deeds.
Oh the woes we are having just from having this radical person as our President (I have never referred to him as my president and I NEVER will) When I see how he has made an ASS of himself just by fighting with the Fox News tells me this (lets call him a man for just being somewhat kind) that our so called President is more than untrustworthy, he is just a little above being a Moron. Our country is in such a mess that it becomes more scarey everyday that he is allowed to spread his radical moves among the people of a country who has shown so much love and respect for this great nation. I would like to let you folks know that as far as keeping our environment clean the so called right wing did a much better job than the liberals that voted for and attended the inauguration. I saw pictures after the Washington Tea Party, Sept. 12th, in which the grounds were left in pristine condition compared to the horrible mess left after the drunken inauguration festivities. To me it showed the character of the people attending each function. The Tea Party attendees, 9/12 folks, and those speaking out at Town Hall meetings are good hearted, caring people that love freedom and everything our great Nation has stood for. We don’t want to lose our freedom. Some of you who are so trusting of the government should do a little research. You might be surprised what you would discover. Obama is the only president ever to support partial birth abortion. Which means he would kill a fetus that survived an abortion. Seems to me if a child would survive that could be God’s will. I think it’s sad our leader feels the need to apologize for the US without ever mentioning all the good we have done.

There are programs that are needed to help people. The system of programs is being abused by some, I’ll agree to that. But there are others that truely need the help. You can’t just shut down a program like welfare or medicare cold turkey. You have to figure out how to stop the abuse and fraud of the system. No one ever talks about that though do you?
Our healthcare system in this country is OK but just ok. It’s becoming to the point that only those with a lot of money will have access to healthcare. Can you say population control? Or since so many don’t have health insurance they are treated at no cost. That cost is later passed on to those that have health insurance and drive up the price and which in turn drives up the price of insurance. It’s not hard to figure out. Just as stores charge more for items because they cover the cost of items that are shop lifted everyday.
I don’t think we are in as bad as state as folks on Fox News lead you to believe. You blame Obama, but in fact he is disappointing in the fact he doesn’t done much of anything or shown much leadership at all. The Republicans just say no to everything. And by the way, I didn’t do the cash for clunkers either! Not only did I not have a clunker, the program ended before I bought my new car. I haven’t been crying like some either because I didn’t get a free government rebate. In the end the program sold cars. That’s what it was designed to do. Sell cars. It gave dealers cash flow. Do you understand the concept of cash flow? It also reduced inventory of new cars sitting on lots. You just can’t admit it when something works that you’re not in favor of can you.
As for free healthcare, I don’t want or expect free healthcare. But the insurance companies need to be brought under control. I actually had free healthcare at one time when I started working. My employer paid it in full. Now I pay $40 a week for it. Not because my employer is greedy but because they simply can’t afford to pay everyone’s health insurance in full anymore. It has gotten out of hand. You think it’s all about people wanting free healthcare, it’s not. Health insurance cost our killing business. You know business, the thing that keeps people employed and the economy going. Why do you think manufactures moved to China? Because it cost too much here in the USA. I’m sure healthcare cost have a lot to do with it. We saddle business with and outrages cost to cover employees health insurance, then wonder why they pack up and leave.
And, it sure would be nice to have a public plan to buy into at a low cost if I ever lost my job, Which, working for a construction company can happen. If I get laid off I lose my insurance. If there is a public plan people that get laid off won’t have to worry.

He has agreed to loan auto companies money so they can stay in business and keep people employed and you attack him for that. What do want him to do? And do you know he did none of these things alone. It takes congress to pass a law or open the pocketbook. He can only suggest things then sign the bill into law.

I grew up with the Liberal propaganda all around me, but I read a lot and did a lot of thinking about the behavior of those who just believed because the Hopes and Dreams were more attractive than reality. Their first resort on almost any debate was to ridicule the opponents with eye-rolling, laughing, name-calling, etc. That was an eye-opener for me. I quickly realized that they had to do that because their comments had no real legs to stand on.
So, I think it is great that they attack us constantly with similar substance-less statements, because it will no doubt wake up many fence-straddlers who visit this board.

Now it is time that we move forward again in still another critical area: health care.
Without adequate health care, no one can make full use of his or her talents and opportunities. It is thus just as important that economic, racial and social barriers not stand in the way of good health care as it is to eliminate those barriers to a good education and a good job.
Three years ago, I proposed a major health insurance program to the Congress, seeking to guarantee adequate financing of health care on a nationwide basis. That proposal generated widespread discussion and useful debate. But no legislation reached my desk.
Today the need is even more pressing because of the higher costs of medical care. Efforts to control medical costs under the New Economic Policy have been Inept with encouraging success, sharply reducing the rate of inflation for health care. Nevertheless, the overall cost of health care has still risen by more than 20 percent in the last two and one-half years, so that more and more Americans face staggering bills when they receive medical help today:
–Across the Nation, the average cost of a day of hospital care now exceeds $110.
–The average cost of delivering a baby and providing postnatal care approaches $1,000.
–The average cost of health care for terminal cancer now exceeds $20,000.
For the average family, it is clear that without adequate insurance, even normal care can ‘be a financial burden while a catastrophic illness can mean catastrophic debt.
Beyond the question of the prices of health care, our present system of health care insurance suffers from two major flaws :
First, even though more Americans carry health insurance than ever before, the 25 million Americans who remain uninsured often need it the most and are most unlikely to obtain it. They include many who work in seasonal or transient occupations, high-risk cases, and those who are ineligible for Medicaid despite low incomes.
Second, those Americans who do carry health insurance often lack coverage which is balanced, comprehensive and fully protective:
–Forty percent of those who are insured are not covered for visits to physicians on an out-patient basis, a gap that creates powerful incentives toward high cost care in hospitals;
–Few people have the option of selecting care through prepaid arrangements offered by Health Maintenance Organizations so the system at large does not benefit from the free choice and creative competition this would offer;
–Very few private policies cover preventive services;
–Most health plans do not contain built-in incentives to reduce waste and inefficiency. The extra costs of wasteful practices are passed on, of course, to consumers; and
–Fewer than half of our citizens under 65–and almost none over 65–have major medical coverage which pays for the cost of catastrophic illness.
These gaps in health protection can have tragic consequences. They can cause people to delay seeking medical attention until it is too late. Then a medical crisis ensues, followed by huge medical bills–or worse. Delays in treatment can end in death or lifelong disability.

I like you man, but I must take exception to the spying thing. Like watching a movie where the good guy is clearly defined, it is a wonderful thing if used by people with purely altruistic motivations. But as you can see from this administration, that isn’t always going to be the case. The foot is in the door for Big Brother to do his Magic. Our Founders had been all through this crap and they tried to do their best to protect us with the Bill of Rights, but we need to become aware and push hard to keep those freedoms from being trampled by a well-meaning (or not so) Big Government. The Constitution already had procedures in place to allow wire-tapping, etc. on suspects. The government didn’t need to create the Patriot Act, which no doubt is unconstitutional.
And what do we do with the terrorists anyway when caught? We put them up in conditions that are probably better than they had in Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Iran, at the taxpayer’s expense.

And from my understanding of it, more than one plan was stopped because of this. So at that time, I fully welcomed it. Im just afraid now that this admin, will go to sleep again, put national security on the back burner, and think they can tell these terrorists that we are their friends and everything will be rosy. Clinton had the “intel” and “terrorist information” on Osama Bin Laden, knowing full well that Bin Laden was a real threat to America, but chose to reverse his original orders to Bin Laden removed after extensive and considerable expentitures of time and money hunting Bin Laden down. Once found, Bin Laden was exposed, but Clinton’s politics killed off the mission, which eventually led to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. But it was all GWB’s fault, wasn’t it? Go figure!

Let me expound on this. I went to 3 missions trips to Gulfport, Mississippi 3 years in a row. I found that there, and in Biloxi down the road, and all small towns nearby, Bay St. Louis, Pascagoula and others, all were rebuilding. The first year, the residents had torn out the doors and windows of their houses, and ripped out the drywall and insulation to dry things out and keep black mold from growing. They worked to help each other, and have pretty much rebuilt all the way. Now you go to New Orleans, and its miles of untouched nasty filthy house, infested with gangs and freeloaders. Nothing has been touched. The people were given 5000 dollar credit cards and they all took the money and ran. The slumlords left the houses sit, while the government there stands with their hands out, blaming Bush for not fixing it all because of their color. Mayor Nagin is the biggest racist Ive seen in politics, and its his fault the people didnt get out because he didnt listen and start the buses like he was told, instead he let the buses get flooded in, and blamed Bush for all of it. It wasnt that way, but again, its Whitey’s fault. Unbelievable. And on top of it all, in Biloxi, Gulfport and these towns, they were hit by a 30′ tall wall of water that just tore everything up, along with 80 mile and hour and higher winds that ripped roofs off. In New Orleans, I observed most of these houses suffered neither wind or surge damage, just water damage as water slowly crept in when the levee broke. Thats another thing. How stupid can you be to build a giant reservoir up above your town on the high land, then build your city down in the lowland. They should drain Lake Pontchartrain into New Orleans, and fill it it, then build up where the lake was. But see, when it floods again, itll be Bush’s fault, even if its 30 years from now and the guy is dead. They will still find a way to blame him.
Berberoni: Years ago my maternal grandfather, a very wise person, said that he thought the American Presidency position was too big for one person. That there was no one who was expert in all the areas Presidents have to cover. Bush did not do as well with in country economics but he and Mr. Cheney KEPT US ATTACK FREE after 9/11. THAT is his great legacy for this country. Now we have a person who is dithering on the most important area – that of either reinforcing our military in Afghanistan immediately or bring those over there home. He should be speaking with General Mac in person at least weekly – when things get passed up and down a chain of command they always get changed (remember the whisper game when we were young – someone whispered something to the next person and down the row it went and practically never ended up with what was first said). Face it – our President wants complete government control in this country – and he doesn’t even like the country so he wants it to be based on how the countries he does like do it – you are right – this is the pits and going to get a lot worse. Come on Dave, Bill Clinton said everyone should be able to live the American dream of owning their own house. Shoot, it doesnt have to mean they actually have to have a job and pay for it, does it? I mean, when they set this whole thing up, and the government told the banks to lend folks money that had no way in hell to pay it back, and that the government would guarantee the loan, shoot, they lent to everybody and anybody. On top of that, those top dems running this thing, Franklin Raines and Jamie Gorelick, just how many million dollar bonus checks did they write out of this money to their left wing friends, and better yet, why arent they in jail for it? When Bush called for an investigation into it because the numbers looked funny, how did Barney Frank, who was the guy who was supposed to be keeping a watch on this, shot it down. How did he have the authority to tell the president that no investigation was needed, while his cronies fleeced it more. How did someone get that kind of power, the power to steal like that? When Texas (at the time, a free nation) joined the Union it retained the right to divide into five states which we still have (look at that – 10 Senators instead of two!). It also had, for the first hundred years, the right to secede from the Union, if the citizens voted to do so. That has expired but there seems to be a growing movement (only half in fun) to do so now the way things are going – we even have a gubernatorial candidate running his campaign on that aspect alone and I JUST MIGHT VOTE FOR HIM. We’d have a really good Military setup with all the bases we have

I agree totally with you. Some do think that God is going to come and do all the work for them. You are correct, that we are to be his hands and feet here, and get out and do. Pray for guidance, and get out and get your hands dirty and do. Get out of the boat. Get out of your comfort zone, and make a difference. Its like the guy on the roof when the flood is rising, and a row boat comes by, but the guy says “God is going to save me”. The water gets higher and here comes a motorized boat, but the guy stays and says “God is going to save me”. I prayed all through the primary hoping O’Bama would not get elected. He is only doing exactly what he said then and in his books. To those who dislike or hate Bush: I voted for him and regretted it but then there wasn’t much choice either. And, yes, I sent him more than one email telling what I really thought of some of his policies. The only thing that really got my goat was creating the atmosphere and letting so many jobs go overseas instead of incentives to keep them here at home. But then Clinton started that ball rolling passing NAFTA and CAFTA when Ross Perot told everyone exactly what would happen if they were passed. It did. The biggest blame is still CONGRESS.

Obama can put anyone in he wants in any office he wants but he needs to remember the fighting spirit of the American People. In the end they will rise to the occasion and do whatever is necessary to save our country and our way of life. Obama and his administration keeps on saying time and again how the people of this country are with him but how many went to DC just to make the rally to voice their contempt of him and his cronies along with their policies and agendas and there were thousands and thousands more, like myself, who couldn’t go. I think everyone would be amazed at how many people are emphatically against Obama and his policies and agendas and that will come out in the next election. I’m concerned with the events of late but I’m not worried. Elections are coming soon and those who support Obama and his madness are about to find themselves on the sidewalk looking for work. I do find it difficult to believe that there are some who still have the wool pulled over their eyes and can’t see what Obama is trying to accomplish. But, like I said, the American People are waking up and seeing through him and his policies and agendas. But there is one thing to remember, the most important thing of all, we are by far a Christian Nation and God is on our side in all this. God has promised to not let us down when it comes to fighting evil and the heads are about to roll. Pray that God will have His will where our country is concerned. The bottom line is that I want America to free, to remain a deomocracy, republic, capitalist society. I don’t want to lean toward socialism or communism. Our country has fought to be free and I want to remain free.

Term limits aren’t going to solve the problem. Rather people need to get educated to the reality that Big Government isn’t the solution to our problems. Both major parties have been growing the government for many decades and that isn’t going to change with new blood, unless the voters carefully scrutinize the candidates and put only those into office who promise to shrink government.
Get government out of the way, and let capitalism, free market democracy work, and it will run great forever. Big government continually gets in the way, and screws it up. They punish the successful business’s, and reward those that fail, and if they would just go away, and do things they need to do, like making sure we have a stable police force, a stable military, a stable fire department, and things like that, all would be well in my soul. But instead, this goverment keeps growing like you said Dave, and they want their fingers in everything, so they create this committee and that committee, and this branch and that branch, they we pay billions more to support these government branches. Sorry folks. We dont need no IRS, or the FED as they call it. These two branches alone suck billions out of us. The school system is so broken that they keep spending more and more, and the education becomes poorer and poorer. Its a big suck on our tax dollars. Im sure the free market can do better, and it is, as more and more of these smaller private schools are being built, and maybe someday we will rid ourselves of this glutton upon our tax dollars. I mean, I know our children need schooling and education, but the way the government is doing it now, well sorry, its total failure, and at a huge, and I mean huge cost.

Yep, it pretty much started going downhill soon after the Constitution was created. Ironically, it was during Thomas Jefferson’s presidency that adherence to free principles started coming unraveled. Not because Jefferson advocated such, but as a result of the ‘deal-making’ that we are all familiar with between parties. I suspect Jefferson fell prey to the “lesser of two evils” mentality.
As Jefferson said “Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories”.

He starts out staying what a divisive thing a hyphen is: Angelo-American, Italian-American, African-American, Mexican-American, etc. He ended by saying we are (just plain) AMERICANS AND THAT SAYS IT ALL. Vote Obama out in 2012 and we can start reversing everything he does. Stop buying liberal newspapers and magazines. Stop listening to the national news media (CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc). They are already in financial trouble and as their readership and viewship declines, they lose revenue from not only subscribtions but, more importantly, from advertising revenues which is tied directly to the number of people they reach. Eventually they will go out of business to be replaced by a fair and balanced new media. Only then will their profits return.

Im a Republican Dave, and I agree. And Id even go farther and say dont vote for guys like McCain that are career politicians, and Dick Lugar in Indiana and the like. I find it really interesting how Obama’s people are so terrified of talk radio (conservatives – libs couldn’t make a “go” of it) and FOX news (that isn’t news but Republicans!). Fox has real news all day until 5 pm Eastern. Then Glenn Beck is on – he espouses returning to The Constitution and what is written there. Since Obama’s peple don’t that makes Glenn a Republican – he isn’t and says so often. He doesn’t care for either party. He didn’t like Bush.
Then there is Bill O’Reilly. He always invites someone from each side of an issue to appear – often the liberal side refuses to answer the invitation to appear. Those who do appear are treated politely as long as they ANSWER THE QUESTION AND DON’T DITHER DOWN A SIDEROAD TRYING TO AVOID THE QUESTION.
Then there is Sean Hannity. Sean, again this past week, said he is NOT a Reagan Republican but rather a Reagan Conservative. Nevertheless, the nitwits in power, keep up their scathing put downs of Hannity’s Republicanism. They change any description of one’s beliefs to fit THEIR definition – not what actually is.
