More Oxygen, Please!
August 17, 2009 by Bob Livingston
If you can’t hold your breath for more than 20 to 25 seconds, you can step up the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood by supplementing with four items which I’ll discuss later in this article.
Lack of oxygen is a clinical symptom of low pH and high acid levels. As we get older, we normally get more acidic because of our life-long cooked food diet, which results in sludged, or thick blood. This also leads to narrowed arteries with plaque buildup.
Many times pneumonia leads to death for two reasons:
1. pH has dropped to an acid state.
2. Exhaustion of vitamin C. The clinical symptom is lack of oxygen and perhaps angina pain and gasping for breath.
Here are some non-drug solutions to prevent pneumonia, or to recover from pneumonia or just for shortness of breath:
1. Quickly alkalize the body with alkaline pH drops.
2. Take natural vitamin C to increase the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood.
3. Take organic or natural vitamin E. In vitamin E deficient states (most folks are), the tissues may require up to 250 percent more oxygen.
4. Thin blood naturally with products such as nattokinase. Check with your doctor if you are on blood thinners.
You can step up the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood by supplementing with the four items mentioned above. Natural vitamin C complex is critical because it contains the enzyme tyrosinase, the organic copper factor which is an adrenal hormone precursor.
In oxygen deficient states, the hemoglobin carries only half the oxygen needed. It is imperative that each spurt of blood leaving the heart carry the maximum amount of oxygen. No matter what the cause of oxygen shortage, of all the factors needed by the heart, none can be more important than the vitamin C complex carrying this oxygen-increasing factor. This can easily be a matter of life or death to a person short of oxygen.

Your ph is a very important (but usually ignored) part of quality health care. When it comes to ph, most MDs are deaf, dumb and blind. Even if you demand that your ph be checked (especially if you’re in a hospital), chances are that it will be ignored [they didn't tell us it was important in medical school!].
In those rare cases when an MD does measure your ph, it would be a great time to grill that MD, and ask him/her why it’s important now, when it tends to be so ‘unimportant’ most of the time.
Do yourself a favor. Make it a habit to test your ph. You can get what you need at a drug store. The cost is minimal. It’s YOUR health. And, it’s your health and wealth that tend to be squandered by ‘decision-makers’ in America health care.
I have COPD, the doctor says, and use oxygen. One year ago I went to the lung doctor and the lab did the Ph thing. I am 73 and had never heard of my ph! Both sides were the same. My lung doctor looked at the results of the test and frantically said, “What have you done!!” I told him my regular doctor had tested my thyroid. I had been complaining for 2 years about being tired all the time. Oxygen et al did not help. We changed our eating habits because of my husbands diabetes. He lost 15 lbs., I gained 20! The first thyroid test came back normal. The second test, 1 year ago, came back low. Just days after starting Thyroxen, I felt better than I had felt in years!! Six months later, my thyroid tested normal – I was on the Thyroxen. Not only do I feel better than I have in years, I do not have the shortness of breath that you have with COPD. For some reason my beathing is fine and I think it’s because of the Thyroxen. Not only is my ph normal, but I have alot more oxygen in my blood in proportion to carbon dioxide. I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. So glad there was no committee in Washington that said I did not need the thyroid test or the Thyroxen! Thank you Governor Palin for alerting us. Thank you to the doctors on my email that talk about the thyroid! Thank you, Bob Livingston! God bless everyone.
Bob, just a general comment. The latest issue of Well Being Journal has a stunning report entitled, Cancer, Cholesterol and Statins.Important facts in this article are, use of statins causes cancer, total cholesterol count is meaningless, there is no Good or bad cholesterol and that applies to LDL, and lastly fish oil is almost useless and can be very harmful in large doses. These are the findings of Prof. Brian Peskin, considered one of the pre-eminent researchers in his field and considered brilliant by his peers. This info can be found in detail at cambridgemedscience.org,
This is great, it is something so easy to do and so important as well. Thanks for the information.
Good article. I too am an ultra-conservative who embraces healthy nutrition though natural, organic, whole foods. I will be following this website henceforth.
i like this article,
my father and i were on a hike and the symptoms and causes you describe fit him to a “t”.
he is one that has let doctors give him all kinds of pills, now his health has deteriorated tremendously,,,, this info can be of direct help to many in the same boat.
Very good article, Bob. However, many people are severly toxic and need much more powerful oxygen therapy than these nutritional supplements. A very effective supplement that quickly raises your blood oxygen level is Global Health Trax’s Oxygen Elements Max. And the most powerful oxygen therapy available to us in America is the Oxygen Spa(also known as the ozone sauna). Check it out at the Oxygen Spa Superstore on the web.
Web-search for Oxycise – breathing exercises that help you get in better shape and loose weight, give you more energy. Yes, even while you drive (if you develope the habit) (no, I’m not involved in the business, but have seen it in practice)
It is amazing!… You are preaching exactly what Herbert W. Armstrong was teaching 70 years ago! He taught about wholesome foods because “modern” techniques remove all the alkaline containing minerals thereby acidifing the body and leading to poor health. Excellent article. I hope people will heed what you are discussing! Not just this article but all the others as well!
I wonder..nobody mentioned or commented on taking Hydrogen Peroxide. Anyone experienced in using HP protocol?
And one more – in your experience, if you’re taking COUMADIN how do you replace it with NATTOKINAZE? Please, do not tell me “ask your doctor”…I did but they refuse to talk about it.. Thank you.
Im 81 and couldd not breath good for 2 weeks i went to the health food store she put me on alkazone for the PH balance 3 drops in water
4 to 6 times a day and ChlorOxygen twice a day and i am fine
Thank you
Betty
What I cant figure out about this oxygen and holding your breath thing, is that when I was a smoker, I could hold my breath and go underwater the length of an olympic size swimming pool, touch the edge, and come a quarter of the way back before having to surface for air. Now that Ive quit smoking for a year, all the sudden for some reason I can only make it half the length of the pool before I need to come up for air. Can anyone explain this? Other than that, I dont get winded when I excercise and play sports, and I never have. But this just seems plain odd to me, that I cant hold my breath as a non smoker nearly as long as I did as a smoker.
Mike the protocol for food grade hydrogen peroxide is you start off with 8 drops in water and gradually up the dosage each week
Elaine, I would like to know a little more about this food grade hydrogen peroxide. Also where you can get it and what dose is right? Does it vary with weight, age?
Thanks Arlys
